Everyone is always so kind and the staff really cares about getting to know you! The nurse that helped me today 1/5 was so kind and engaged in conversation with me and made sure i was comfortable the whole time.

Upon moving to the Johnston area, I was looking for a new dentist for regular cleanings. I was referred to Dr. Karch at The Dental Studio of Iowa. When I arrived at the Dental Studio of Iowa, I was immediately impressed. I was instantly welcomed and offered a complimentary beverage by the most friendly staff. The entire staff introduced themselves and welcomed me in.

The layout and decor of the office was professionally designed and felt more like a home than a dental office. There is an area for children and plenty of options to keep you occupied in the waiting area. The seasonal decoration will make you want to stay longer.

The best part was when I was receiving the cleaning and examination, Dr. Karch turned on Netflix to keep my mind at ease and focused on the show rather than the cleaning/examination. This helped reduce the anxiety that I feel when going to the dentist.

I later engaged Dr. Karch on solutions to re-straighten my teeth since I had lost my retainer a couple years ago as my teeth had shifted quite a bit. Dr. Karch sat with me and explained my options using the latest state of the art technology as well as the process from start to finish in order to get my smile back.

After receiving the initial treatment, Dr. Karch sent me a personalized text a couple weeks after receiving the first set of Invisalign retainer to see how I was doing. He truly has your best interest during the entire process.

The staff is very personable, kind, friendly and very helpful. I didn’t have to waste time with the insurance company since the staff made all the calls and looked into my coverage. I also felt very comfortable with everyone in the office. I am always greeted by everyone in the office upon entering as a best friend.

I highly recommend anyone searching for a dentist to go to The Dental Studio of Iowa; you’ll be treated with the utmost professionalism and you will leave feeling great about your visit. You’ll look forward going back to the dentist!

Had some tooth work done as well as routine cleaning. Actually ended up seeing both dentists in different visits and they were both very nice and personable. Dr Elmitt added some crowns and I have to say I have never had a dentist be so focused to make everything fit perfect. I am extremely happy with the results and would recommend The Dental Sudio of Iowa to anyone.

This office is the most friendly, welcoming dentist office I've ever been to. We moved here from illinois and was looking for a dentist office and I am so happy with finding Dental Studio of Iowa. From the moment you walk in the door you are welcomed with kindness. They are the best.

Dr. Elmitt and the staff are awesome. My daughter loves going to have her teeth cleaned because the hygienist makes her giggle when cleaning her teeth. Dr. Elmitt is great with her and explaining things so she understands. I have sensitive teeth and have no issues with teeth cleaning.

I very much appreciated Dr. Karch getting me in for a last minute appointment. The office personnel were very professional. Dr. Karch was very professional made me at ease explaining the procedure before starting & during the entire process. I would definitely recommend him.

If you’re looking for a kind, honest, and compassionate dentist, look no further than Dr. Karch. This man has a wonderful heart and keen eye for perfection in his work in both young and old. I can honestly say that if you’re nervous about dental treatment you can take comfort in knowing that you’ll be given the best treatment possible. After working sixteen years in dentistry as a hygienist and an assistant in two states, Dr. Karch is one of the best dentists I had the privilege to work with. I’m not employed with him but I was able to work chairside with him at another dental office before he opened his own private practice. Working hand in hand with Dr. Karch was honestly so much fun it didn’t seem like work! We were sad when he left the current practice I work at to open his own office! However, we all knew the people in Johnston would be well taken care of by Dr. Karch. On a personal note, my mother is going through cancer treatment and the medicine she is having to take makes regular toothpaste taste horrible and it has started to irritate her gum tissue. I was able to contact Dr. Karch and personally ask him what she could do to improve her situation. He was able to immediately direct me to a more soothing toothpaste with more fluoride that my mother was able to use without further irritation to her gum tissue. That made a world of difference for my mother’s quality of life. There you go! This is honestly the best man to go to for dental care. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Dr. Karch is from my own professional, and personal experience.

The staff at The Dental Studio of Iowa are excellent! They are always on time and courteous. I’m very grateful to have found such a great Dentist in Dr. Elmitt.
