I have been a patient with Aspen Dental since 2016. Today had been the absolute worse service. My scheduled appointment was for 7:30. No one was in The office. Everyone was late except someone coming to fill In From Slidel. The other office workers didn’t get in until 9. So I was here until 11. Now since they were resigning my dentures. They said to come back at 2. I’m sitting g here now at 6 pm. Absolutely losing all patience. And the crew doesn’t even aren’t to care. That is the toughest part to swallow

Dr Coleman was absolutely amazing. I was very nervous getting my work done today and him and his staff helped me feel comfortable. I did not mind waiting for amazing service.

absolutely avoid. come here for the free xrays, then leave and go elsewhere. i came in because i had a chipped tooth that, admittedly, i hadn't gotten taken care of because at the time i was very poor and uninsured. i went in to get it looked at and get some xrays so i could see someone else. but i figured i could give them a chance if i liked them. nope. i didn't wait long for my appointment, i went in and natalia told me i would need a whopping 8 teeth removed, at least 5k of dental work done.the appointment was insanely fast, i feel like they didn't listen to me at all or explain any options. just wanted to rip a lot of healthy, saveable teeth out?? after the appointment, they immediately usher you into this cramped office with a lady who tries to nickel and dime you on top of the quoted amount from the dentist, to get into a payment plan. you can refuse. ask for your xrays and paperwork. they will NOT give them to you unless you ask. i went to houma family dental (amazing!) and turns out aspen was totally wrong, and they missed the absolute monster of an infection i had in my mouth (no pain because that nerve is dead). that could have killed me! the black spot of infection is huge and impossible to miss on my xray. aspen didn't even mention it at all...turns out i just need a root canal on my cracked tooth and a cleaning, and i will be fine as long as i get my cleanings. around 2k of work. and no ripping out tons of saveable teeth!

Aspen dental is amazing. I have always been in fear of dentists. My entire life. The entire staff is very caring. They are very thorough as far as making sure you understand all your procedures and options. I give high recommendations and feel very comfortable going back for my surgery in a couple weeks. 5 Stars is not enough. Thank you Aspen Dental.

I would NOT recommend aspen dental in Houma to anyone !!! This experience has been a nightmare from the second visit - should have went with my gut and stopped everything at that visit , but gave them the benefit of the doubt .The wait time for us was over an hour at every visit. They give you an appointment time, then send an email confirmation with a totally different time and then the day of your appointment you get a text to confirm your appointment with a totally different time - 3 different times for one visit. Had all my teeth pulled in one visit. Some of my teeth broke off when she pulled them . Went home to heal and 3 weeks later I go back for follow up , with fragments of bone in several locations in my mouth where the dentist had trouble pulling and the teeth broke - The dentist that saw me that day said , and I quote “why didn’t the dentist get all that when she was pulling “ end quote !! Had to have my gums recut and sent home to heal - . Almost 6 weeks from initial visit and still have not done impressions - not a good experience at all.
