Aspen Dental

I was very pleased with my visit to Aspen Dental in Houma, Louisiana. The staff was friendly and helpful, and my dentist was very thorough on my issues and made sure i understood everything in a kind and reassuring manner. She will be my dentist from this point on.

1st visit to Aspen Dental, Houma, LA. I have to say it was pleasant and probably the best dental visit I can recall. My appt was at 7:30AM. I showed up early since I was a new patient. I was taken to the back for xrays by no later than 7:40. I moved from xrays to the hygienist to the doctor with little time in between. It was nice to not be sat in a room with no idea when someone would be coming in. The hygienist, Loi was great and so fun to talk to!! Very good experience! Have some extra work to be done so I will be going back soon and I look forward to it.

It was my first time going and I went to get one cavity filled, that my regular dentist pointed out needed to be filled. As I recently moved to Houma, and went to my regular dentist while I was back home, I figured I’d go to aspen dental to get it filled. They told me that not only did I have five cavities, but on one of the teeth I’d need a whole crown on because they wouldn’t be able to fill the cavity because I already had a small filling in that tooth, and she takes her tool and starts CHIPPING AWAY AT MY FILLING. Because I KNOW I do not need a crown in any way shape or form, but she sure was gonna make me need one. I now have a chipped filling, who knows what problems that’s gonna cause. And as she was looking at my teeth the nurse came in to inform her that she just filled the wrong tooth on the man in the room next to me. She got very upset and defensive and said that’s completely absurd and that the tooth she filled is the tooth he said he had pain on and that’s not her fault and if he had pain there then he needed one there anyway. At this point I wanted to get out of the chair. A couple minutes later she finishes, and they call me out to where they book your next appt. I sit down and she gives me the paper with how much all the work they said I needed is gonna cost. $1,400. When I went in because I needed one filling. I told her I absolutely did not want to make a follow up appointment to have any work done because one, I do not believe I need that much work, and two, she gave the man in the other room a filling in the wrong tooth. I asked for copies of my X-rays so I could get a second opinion. She got up and walked around for a minute, then came back and told me the printer was broken. I asked her to see if there was anything she could do, she left and came back about five minutes later and said it was broken and she didn’t know why. I then hear a sound....awfully like the sound a printer would make when it prints a piece of paper...and I look past her and see there’s one behind her no where near where she was walking to go to the supposed broken printer. I asked her to print them on that one. She told me she couldn’t. I gave her my email and asked her to email them to me. She said she would and told me to have a great day, I told her I wasn’t gonna leave until she emailed them to me. 15 painful minutes later and I had my xrays.
You should realize what’s going on in your practice before you catch a lawsuit. Chipping away at my filling to cause a bigger issue? Filling THE WRONG TOOTH? Absolutely absurd. I only went here because it was the only place I could get an appointment that wasn’t in three weeks like all the other places, I actually got an apartment for the NEXT DAY. There’s a reason. Save your time and money, protect yourself and your health. Stay away from this place.

One of the hygienist here is a dream. She is loving her job and made this a wonderful experience. Thorough job. Anytime I’m working here, I will pop in for a cleaning. Thanks Haley.

I just wanna say making a appointment with Aspen Dental was a great ideal! If it wasn't for them i wouldn't have known what was going on with my teeth. The people in Aspen Dental are very nice, they always come with a smile to make thier patient happy. Even though they dont take Medicaid they are willing to work with you and help you get your teeth healthy..

The people or great. Couldn't ask for a better place. They took care of my needs. The whole. Office is just great. Give a raise.

Dental consultant Ericka went above and beyond to make sure we (My husband and myself) received the best coverage. He was able to return the following morning to begin his procedures. Office personnel were friendly and professional especially Lakita. This visit was at the Houma LA location.

This location was kind, respectful, timely, and helpful. The call I made to make the appointment was the best customer service experience I've ever had. If they didn't have free x-rays and consultation for my visit, I don't know what I would have done.

My husband visited Aspen Dental in Houma, LA yesterday evening. The first positive is that they offer evening appointments which allowed him to go in after he got off of work. Ultimately the customer service will keep us going back to Aspen dental. I called Ericka this morning to discuss his plan of care. She was so helpful and patiently answered all of my questions. She adjusted his treatment plan to fit his dental needs and our budget as requested. Thank you Ericka and Aspen Dental!!!
