I had a great experience at True Dental! I came in for a cleaning and they found a cavity. I was able to come in and get it filled the very next day. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hygienists were extremely through and explained everything as they went. Dr. Julie Shin made me feel very comfortable and eased my anxiety in both visits. I would recommend this office to anyone, but particularly people who have dental anxiety.
Edit: I just had another really good experience with Dr. Julie Shin. I was particularly anxious about a certain tooth, and the amount of care she took during my appointment blew me away. She was incredibly patient and understanding. She not only listened to my concerns, but actively made changes to address them and was so kind the entire appointment. Other dentists would have just brushed it off or told me I just needed to relax, but Dr. Julie really listens. She truly cares about keeping her patients calm and comfortable, even for minor procedures like mine. If you are at all anxious about the dentist, don’t be because Dr. Julie will make sure you don’t feel any discomfort whatsoever.
Additionally, every dental assistant I’ve had has been incredible!

I haven't been to the dentist in about 7 years, and this was a wonderful experience for my first time back. My hygienist was so friendly and kind; she didn't judge me at all. She made sure to communicate/explain everything she was doing, and she was very thorough yet gentle with the cleaning. The doctor was super friendly and non-judgmental as well, and she had a straightforward treatment plan for some cavities. I felt very comfortable there and I will definitely go back. I highly recommend True Dental!

Dr. Julie is the sweetest. She genuinely cares and makes me feel comfortable! My sons (ages 2 and 9)see Dr. Jai and he’s just as great! They’re both professional, respectful, kind and informative! Their team is always warm and friendly. Tiffany is my hygienist and she’s the best, super patient with me and always checks in to make sure I’m comfortable- she also does great with my son!

The hygienist, Esther was fantastic. She answered all of my questions and did not sugarcoat anything which I greatly appreciate. I want to know better ways of caring for my oral health and she delivered that information in a kind and helpful manner. The doctor who finished my exam was so easy to talk to. He had a great personality and I felt like he really cared. I am recommending this dental office to everyone I know. Cannot wait to come back in a few months!

I really hate that every time I move I have to find a new dentist. True Dental was my first office to visit when I moved to Maryland and I will say that I got lucky! I have been twice now and have seen both dentists and have had fantastic experiences with both. They are professional and welcoming. The hygienists are awesome; they walk you through everything they're doing and make sure you feel comfortable. The office is super clean, decorating nicely, and smells great. Nobody tries to talk to you while they have tools in your mouth too. Always a plus. Very happy to have found this dentist.
