This was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. Everyone was so kind throughout my appointment, and my comfort and concerns were a priority. They also were great with COVID protocols (social distancing when possible, wearing masks, etc). I highly recommend South Shore Dentistry!

I grew up afraid of the dentist. Dr. Burt and the whole team recognize that fear is real and take extra steps to make sure I am comfortable. I am greeted by name (nickname) when entering. They give me numbing gel for my teeth/gums during the cleanings and continue to ask me if I am ok during the routine cleaning. They effectively listen to my needs and make adjustments when necessary. I used sedation for my last procedure and highly recommend that for anxious patients.

I've gone here for the past 4-5 years. Everyone who works there is extremely nice including my all time favorite dentist, Dr. Larry Burt. Growing up, I went through a string of generally awful dentists until I found one who I stayed with for years. When he retired, I had a hard time finding another dentist that I trusted.
When I needed a wisdom tooth extracted about 5 years ago, I got a few different quotes which were pretty high for one tooth. I was about to give up and go to Tuft's University when I tried South Shore Dentistry. Larry gave me a fair price, very close to what I would have spent at Tuft's University, and made a lifetime customer.
Over the years, I've had a few different procedures here from a crown & root canal procedure to your average fllings. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. With the help of Larry and his staff, I feel like I've pulled a complete 180 on my oral health and I greatly appreciate the hard work and sincere generosity and kindness from this office that helped me along the way.
Also I should mention that everything is done on site. There is no "go here to this Doctor you've never met". It's a truly state of the art office.
