I have never written a review for any business or service received but I am doing it for South Shore Dentistry. I hadn't gone to dentist in 10 years before I saw Dr Burt. I procrastinated and had real fear of dentist. I was sedated 3 times and had a lot of work done and it was a forgettable experience, which is hard to believe. If your not fearful and looking for elite dentist this is the place . If you are fearful like I was then there is no better place for you to go . The front desk staff is excellent and also a fan of the hygienist and yes , they also have a dog for the cherry on top .

When a portion of my dental procedure was unexpectedly not covered by insurance the office and Dr Burk agreed to credit my account.
I appreciate their understanding... Also the hygienists and Dr D. Have been Very patient and understanding of my anxiety when undergoing dental procedures.

I've been going to this practice since the day Dr Burt started here. He's always maintained a well run office with highly professional support staff and the most updated technology. Whether it's his dental assistants, hygienists or the front office staff, you always get treated well with care and respect. I have to say from experience that you're not going find a kinder or more professional hygienist than Bev. She makes you feel so warm, welcome and at ease when you're her patient. And I had mention... the office is beautifully decorated and so clean. šš»šš»

Love Dr Burt & his office. I suffer from ptsd due to a bad dentist years ago. Dr Burt offers sedation. This is a game changer for me. I was able to get a root canal, new crown, filling, and a filling replaced all in one shot. My new crown feels and looks great. Iām

I am a grown adult, who suffered with extreme phobia for dentists due to abusive childhood memories that caused me to neglect my oral hygiene. Years later, medical necessity led me to search for someone who not only could accept my fears but work with me in dealing with them. I was fortunate to find Dr. Burt who explained he could treat me so I would not be uncomfortable, they would work with me and provide consciousness sedation if needed. They were and are kind professionals. All that needs to be said, it was more than 20 years before I started here and now I go every three months and that has been for more than 6 years now!
