I moved to Elk River about 2 years ago and was having trouble with a tooth and one of my co-workers recommended Dr. Skjei. I called and he worked me in that day without even being a prior patient. Recently I was having trouble with another tooth and again he worked me and even stayed late so I didn't have to be in pain all night! The staff is more then friendly and Dr. Skjei has always taken the time to explain everything he is going to do and all options if there are any.Thank you Dr. Skjei!, finally for once going to the dentist isn't so bad!

The team at Lake Dental is very professional and extremely helpful. They have the latest technology and were able to take photos and videos of a sensitive tooth so I could see the issue. Dr. Skjei was able to fix my tooth without doing a root canal. A jedi dentist!

Dr. Skjei, Laura and the team at Lake Dental are very considerate and wonderful. Like most people, I do not have dental insurance and the program they offer is quite reasonable as far as dental "supplemental" plans go. I had deep cleaning, a crown and a filling. I was impressed with the 3D technology where I could have a crown in the same day and they gave me a mini-tour on how it works. Zipity zip my crown and filling were complete and I was on my way. LDC is flexible as far as payments as well, which is a heaven sent. I strongly recommend this facility for all your dental needs.
***Update*** 11/21/18. Got another crown. It felt too big. Dr. Skjei took care of it and it feels better now. I can't express enough how great the team at Lake Dental is -thank you.

Dr. Skjei and staff were very friendly and outgoing. Their state of the art equipment was a major factor in moving to his office. I have had issues with past dental offices advising treatment that was not necessary. This has been going on for 30 years and I still have no crowns which were advised. With his high definition equipment, he was able to show me details of my teeth that no other office could before. After my experience, the whole family has transferred to his office.

Don't know where to start. This has got to be the BEST DENTAL OFFICE EVER!!!!! I was very nervous as I had to have a tooth extracted along with a graph put in for future crown. My tooth took over an hr. to get out and I didn't feel a thing the whole time. Dr. Pachuta was truly the best. 7 days had past and I was still experiencing some pain. I called and they got me in right away, same day and did what they had to to take care of my pain without having to make a new appt. to come back.
All the staff is very courteous, friendly and don't pressure you. They have the latest technology, which means less return appointments to have your dental work completed.
I definitely am no longer nervous to have to go to the Dentist and will be going in for my regular check-ups/cleanings now as they offer an awesome Dental Care Plan.
This is my new Dentist for life!!!!!
