If you do not like going to the dentist office it is probably because you have not been to Serene Oaks Dental. I have been nothing short of amazed at the level of professionalism, expertise, and care this staff puts into their work.
I first started going to Serene Oaks as a result of an emergency and within the week they had resolved the emergency, took a tooth cleaning appointment for both the day and time I had previously scheduled, and set me up with the resources I needed to move forward successfully within my particular situation.
Let me ask you, when can you remember an experience at the dentist being as effortless and efficient as that?
My sincerest thanks to this staff, I am so grateful for all the hard work they have done to help me from day 1 until the present. Value yourself, take care of yourself, and give yourself the best... Serene Oaks Dental is the embodiment of what being the best means.

My experience at Serene Oaks Dental was like none other. I was put to ease right off the bat! Any anxiety I had melted away with the heated neck wrap, essential oils, and hot stone therapy! I would HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone looking for a one of a kind experience. I never knew a dental experience could feel like a spa day! The staff at Serene Oaks Dental are simply amazing. I cannot say enough great things about them. They are courteous, kind, caring, compassionate and so easy to work with! I have never had such a great experience at a dental office before. They treat you like you’re at a spa rather than at the dentist and are the friendliest practitioners I’ve met. Dr. Loween did an amazing job on my teeth; he worked so fast and diligently. I have never had a painless experience at the dentist like this one; nothing hurt at all! I always hated my smile due to teeth that looked like they were missing. I met Dr. Horn and Dr. Loween and immediately saw both of their beautiful smiles with gorgeous teeth. And from there I decide I too was going to have teeth like that.
The staff and the care they offer is top shelf! I am halfway completed with the process, they left me in tears with how beautiful my teeth look. The confidence I didn't have is back and my smile is BIGGER than ever.😁

Dr. Horn and her staff are awesome. After a long battle with an improper fitting of a crown, Dr. Horn was able to adjust it properly on my very first visit to her office, and give me the much needed relief I’d been seeking for a while. My initial visit was very thorough and every staff member that worked with me was extremely patient in explaining everything and answering my questions. They made sure I was comfortable every step along the way. Also, Natalie is gem! I highly recommend Serene Oaks dental.

Dr. Gesica Horn, Dr. Chad Loween and their team at Serene Oaks Dental are incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and caring individuals. I trust this team 100% when it comes to my mouth. Before Serene Oaks Dental came into my life, I had major anxiety going to the dentist. Today I no longer have anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Honestly, it is truly because of this dental office and these humans I now call my friends and family. My favorite dentist’s office I’ve ever been to. Even after moving a few years ago I travel 30 minutes out of my way to come here vs. going to any of the many other dentist’s offices in the south minneapolis area where I live. All of the hygienists, receptionists, and doctors are so friendly and attentive and make the trek worth it (especially Kat, Sarah, and Dr. Horn.) If you have dentist visit anxiety I highly recommend serene oaks - my friends can hardly believe that being offered a blanket/neck pillow, and (pre covid) a paraffin hand dip treatment during my routine cleanings is standard. I almost never leave reviews online, this might even be my first official google review but if you live in the twin cities/surrounding metro I highly recommend these guys 😊

Everyone here is amazing! Great touches like blankets, headphones and neck pillows for longer sessions are really just icing on the cake. Every single person in the office made me feel welcome, and it's clear that these are all genuine, friendly professionals.

Dr Loween is awesome. He always explains every step of the process and even called me personally the evening after a procedure to check on me.

If you need dental work done in the Cities, I highly recommend Serene Oaks.

I haven't been to the dentist in 4 years because I was attached to my dentist and was nervous to try someone new after I moved to MN. I could not have chosen a better office to try! I've never had an experience like this. Natalie did an AWESOME job getting my information and made me feel very comfortable. She took very thorough pictures and X-rays so I could clearly see what was going on. It was a lot. I had old fillings that were broken and two chipped teeth plus a loose orthodontic bar. They were able to take care of all if it, and even made me a smoothie because I was there for a while and had not had breakfast. I highly recommend this office. Dr. Horn and EVERYONE in the office was awesome. You will not regret making an appointment here!
