It was a good visit overall, the staff was great. The only problem that I had was the fact that I was told day before I had one tooth that need to be extracted, i paid for the tooth. The next day, five minutes before they shoot me up with numbing medicine they tell me I need two teeth extracted. Then basically told me that I was wasting my money and I had to choose between which tooth hurt the worse. They should have told me that the day before when I was sitting there waiting for 4 hours in a room. Me personally I will probably find somewhere else to go to finish what was started.

Everyone there has a smile on their face and are eager to work with you it seems at first for me anyway and really Crystal and the other sweet girl that took all my X-rays they did their jobs thoroughly as did the girl in finance it’s when they actually pull your teeth and place what I guess they’re calling “temporary partials” in that wasn’t even explained to me nor did anyone take the time to make sure I knew how to put these in my mouth or remove (oh I guess anyone can eventually figure out how to get something out if they want it out bad enough ) but it’s painful I can’t eat with them in place and that was part of the idea to begin within a very easy person to get along with I don’t have any extra money to spare I didn’t have the money to have this done but I also didn’t want to walk around with a missing tooth on top row third from center in my mouth either so I’m hoping we can work this out because I just had this done a few weeks ago and they said I would get my permanent partial until November that’s a long time to go without seeing me I think?

What started out good…. ended up not good. All of the crowns Aspen placed broke or chipped not even 6 months in and I was not eating candy or anything hard. I had to get root canals on teeth that the endodontist said I didn’t even need. I ended up spending over $10k. Now the work has to be redone.

Will no longer be a patient of Aspen Dental in Flowood. The front office staff is amazing and very helpful. The dentist however is far less professional. Last month had 2 extractions and after calling and asking for antibiotics was told I didn't need them. Thank goodness I have an amazing primary care doctor that saw to it I received the proper care needed. A few days ago had the last 3 extractions done and asked for antibiotics again because they were already abcessed, but she refused so I had to see my own doctor again. The infection was so bad my upper jaw is swollen twice it's size. They are never going to get another dime from me. I am finding a new dentist now.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on 12/22/2021.
I went in to get a tooth pulled. The initial bill they gave me was $10,000 which included two $4,000 partial's, and a $300 toothbrush. I NEVER asked for the partial's, and $300 for a toothbrush is ridiculous as well as the price of the partial's. So, I paid out of pocket $246 to have the tooth surgically removed.
After taking pictures of my teeth, they NEVER explained what they found. They did not give me any pre-operation information. They just told me "we're ready for you". At this point, I was not comfortable with them touching my mouth.
I asked for a refund. The billing specialist quickly asked for the copy of the $10,000 bill, and I was told that my refund would be back on my card within 3-5 business days. I never received my refund, so I called back. I was told they would send it again, and they would call me back with an update. After 10 business days, I still had not received a refund or a call back. So, I contacted the credit card company to dispute the charge.
I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and within hours I received a call from Aspen's Corporate Office in New York who stated that the refund would be taken care of immediately.
