Northside Dental Clinic

My dentist is Dr. Hayter, and his support team (Kelly and Sam) are friendly, personable, and very professional. They've cared for me for about a year, including fillings, oral appliance fitting, cleanings and exams. On multiple occasions, I've walked into the clinic, received my necessary care, and been out of the clinic in less than 20 minutes- always resolving my issue. They provide an excellent appointment reminder service as well. Also, I encountered an issue with my insurance where I had to pay out of pocket, by their administrator (Mary) appealed to my insurance company based on my diagnosis and medical need, and I received full reimbursement. I can't recommend them enough.

I've worn dentures for about 38 years and the best fitting dentures in the past 20 years have come from Northside. This is my second denture for myself that Northside has provided, plus two partials for my son. During previous denture support, I've had the same dental team from beginning to end. With the current denture I rarely see the same dentist or dental assistant. Although I'm confident I'll have a great denture outcome, it seems to have taken longer, with more changes and adjustments than in the past. Regardless, I'd recommend Northside for anyone needing dental care. They have great people working there who know dentistry. That's why I keep coming back!. I personally prefer the consistency and communication with an assigned dentist and dental assistant type process, but perhaps they keep people happier with the system they are using. I just need to appreciate what good support I'm receiving.

On my first visit I was told I needed periodontal scaling because I had some "deep cusps" and had the beginning stages of periodontal disease. I decided to get a 2nd opinion because my previous dentists had always said I did a good job keeping my teeth clean. I had my radio-graphs that were taken at North Side Dental clinic sent to another office. I was then told that I had zero evidence of tartar build up on my teeth. They said scaling wouldn't be needed unless I had tartar build up in conjunction with deep cusps. The were going to charge me $922 for this procedure when I really didn't need it. I wouldn't trust them to give a honest diagnosis.

3/20/15 So, I have been to another dentist twice now and still have ZERO need for periodontal scaling!! My gums are still in great shape.

05/25/21 still no gum disease or need for scaling. What a scam. I'll never forget how unprofessional the dental hygienist was at this office.

From walking in the front doors, being greeted by Sam and Maggie who are phenomenally friendly, to the dental assistants, to Dr. Smith, this place is exceptional. I do not have the best dental hygiene due to family genetics, and it means the world to me not to be chastised about it. Thank you Northside Dental Clinic for making every appointment easy and enjoyable!

Went in for an appointment today. Ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

Kristi was very patient and understanding of my anxiety/fear of having to have dental work. She helped me review my options and answered any questions and helped me wirk out my next steps. She was very sweet.

Dr. Meyer was very nice. Reviewed the x-rays with me and explained what needed to be done and why.

I have fear/anxiety for any kind of visit to the dentist office and everyone at Northside is patient and understanding and does what is possible to help alleviate those for me.

My hygienist Paige was super kind , professional and caring. She explained everything so I knew what was happening along the way .Dr. Hayter was also kind and thorough. I would highly recommend Northside dental!

Absolutely awesome and caring staff, they are very thorough in explaining procedures and answering any questions you may have. Dr. Dove was awesome as well, pain has never been an issue when he's involved. Can't wait to go back (I know crazy right)!

After coming back for years I'm still happy as ever with the care I receive here. Tessa always does an awesome job on my cleanings, Dr Meyer is excellent and TJ is a ball of energy who makes the experience well, hilarious!

From beginning to end they are the best! 😁 My husband and I are new to Springfield, and we tried our luck with another dental office....turned out they didn’t take our insurance and we needed about 7,000.00 of work done. So...then hunt began for another dentist. I called Northside and yippee they use our insurance, and we’re able to get us in at the same time. Gary was seen by Dr. Hayter and Tiffany and I was seen by Dr. Smith and Jami! Both of us were so happy with them, so friendly and thorough. Now let us talk about Sam and Maggie! The moment you walk in you are right at home, they make you feel as though you have known them forever. OH....and just so you know... even without the insurance, they were less expensive! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Our family has been coming to this office for about a year now. We've have experienced nice, kind, understanding staff. They always try to work with you in when having tooth problems. They learned our names quickly and don't have to repeat it every time. My daughter and I have Dr. Hayter and my husband and our other daughter has Dr. Kaelin.

I hate going to the dentist, but everyone at Northside Dental is super friendly that they make it an enjoyable experience! Shana knew I was super nervous about getting fillings today, but she did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and relaxed!
