I was hesitant about coming to see the dentist as I have heard many bad experiences. But every time I come into this dentist office I am greeted by my name and that makes me feel good I never have to wait long and the dental assistants are fantastic. The dentist is very nice and I will now never ever go anywhere else. I recommend 100 percent.

Masks are required. The staff and their customer service is amazing. I love how friendly everyone is, and how patient they are when you have a million questions to ask. While getting my teeth cleaned, I enjoyed the small talk I had with the dental hygienist and she was very friendly and helpful on getting me information and reprinting some documents for me from my previous appointment. It is a far drive for me, roughly a little over a 30 minute drive, but the drive is definitely worth it when you are surrounded by friendly professionals ready to assist you.

This dental office is by far the best dental office I've ever been to. I always feel so comfortable and well taken care of. The staff is all very friendly and nice. I am greeted with smiles as I arrive or depart the office. Dr. Rogers and Dr. Mink have been very informative of what is happening with dental health. Also, they are both very detailed with the procedures they perform. I feel very comfortable in their hands. It is hard to find a good dentist that you feel safe with and I glad I have found one with Dr. Rogers and Dr. Mink!

After 2 1/2 years at this practice, I have moved to another dentist.
It was recommended that I have 2 crowns replaced and restorations due to two cavities. I was concerned, so began the treatment plan, although I had experienced no discomfort with any of my teeth. When the first crown was removed, I questioned if some type of disinfectant should be applied to the remaining tooth before affixing the temporary crown, to prevent subsequent infection. I was told this was not the procedure for this office. As I was awaiting the permanent cap, I had terrible pain develop. I had to INSIST on another visit to the office, where I was informed of an abscess below this tooth (that they had seen, but not disclosed to me, since my first set of images). A regimen of antibiotics did not resolve the issue, and I was BLUNTLY told to go get a root canal.
I do not have dental insurance. The endodontal work was costly, and (I feel) could have been unnecessary if Desert Ridge had adhered to a higher standard of care, especially in regards to sanitation.
I have since been examined by another dentist who did not recommend ANY dental work other than routine prophylaxis.

Dr. Rogers is an excellent dentist. Dr. Rogers and Dr. Mink's practice it by far the best in ABQ. The office is well organized and efficient. The staff is knowledgable and helpful. I highly recommend Desert Ridge Dental.
