Beautiful and calming setting for all your dental work. The staff is knowledgable, gentle and they do everything they can to make you comfortable and calm. There is a gorgeous middle courtyard with a fountain that you can focus on while you are in the chair. I highly recommend this office for any dental work.

From scheduling, checking in, and seeing the hygienist and dentist; the kindest people work here. Today I saw Stacy for x-ray and cleaning. She always comes and gets me herself from the very cozy waiting room, and treats me like family as we visit and share our day during a detailed cleaning. I have a difficult smile (never did braces) and have felt a little shy about my mouth. These folks have taken that away, they have made me so happy and healthy. Dr. Shephards entire family can be seen around the place from dad (Bob) keeping things going to mom making fresh cookies in the back to enjoy after the work is done! Hard to find a better experience at the dentist anywhere. On a side note, I have never had any issues with billing or payment processing either, so the amazing professionalism extends to the back rooms to the people I have not met. Dr. Romeo is absolutely the best dentist I’ve ever seen. I have extremely sensitive teeth and while I didn’t experience any pain in the numbed areas that he was working on, other parts of my mouth hurt so badly. He stopped several times throughout to see if I was okay, used different techniques and tools to ensure my other teeth weren’t exposed to cold air or water, and even went as far as to cover my teeth with cotton swabs. I know these extra steps made him run a bit late to his next patient but he did not seem rushed or bothered at all. He was patient and understanding. I’m so thankful!
I also took my 3 year old son to his first dental appointment here and he had the time of his life! He tells me that he needs to go back to the dentist because his teeth are dirty and need to be cleaned at least once a week.

Warm, comfortable environment. I have had a rather severe resistance to dentistry and my teeth showed it. Fact is, I was terrified to go, to the extent that I could not sleep if there was an appointment on my calendar and would get physically ill the day of the appointment. Uptown Dental Associates changed that. After just two visits, I am able to walk in there fearlessly. Dr. Shepherd seemed to understand the fear and, with a combination of humor and patience, made it possible for me to get some extensive dental work done while easing me out of the fear I had. Truly amazing. The entire group in the office are supportive, professional and understanding. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs.

The culture and atmosphere in this Dental office is elegant. The staff are kind, polite, and transparent. Professionalism is utilized from start to finish. Expertise is evident. If you don't have a General dentist or need specialized cosmetic dentistry this is the place to go.
