Doctor Cowden is stellar!! And his staff is just as wonderful- they feel like family... every time we come for a visit wether it's for a cleaning and cavities, we are always left feeling better than we came in! And that's saying something especially considering that this is the dentist we are talking about! I moved to New Mexico a few years ago and Cowden Family Dental was the first dental office I tried, and I have not felt any need to want to ever go elsewhere. Cowden Family Dental team is not only very friendly, but they truly understand working individuals and make it a priority to schedule you in very early hours or even later hours if needed. I love how workable they are and I also love all the positive and friendly personalities. Cowden Family Dental strives for the best care possible, and I can't say enough how much I appreciate the time both the dental hygienist Alicia and the dentist spend in explaining everything to you and making you feel as comfortable as possible.

I'm very happy with Dr. Cowden and his staff. They're all incredibly warm and welcoming, they listen to everything I have to say no matter how annoying I get, and I can honestly say that I actually enjoyed getting my cleaning done today.
I should say, a traumatic experience with a dentist as a child majorly affected these kinds of procedures for me today, so this was a pretty big deal. Thanks Dr. Cowden and the hygienist who's name I'm kicking myself for forgetting!!

I have had the worst time with dentistry in the Albuquerque Rio Rancho area between 7 different dentists. I have neglected my teeth for a long time due to this reason. I had an appointment with Dr Cowden today and he is the best dentist I’ve been to since leaving North Dakota 20 years ago. The staff was very friendly and made me feel as though I was at home the Dentist was very gentle filling two cavities quite quickly and my cleaning was almost soothing. I can’t wait to go back to finish my fillings. Thank you Cowden Family Dental!

It's been a while since I'd been back here but right away, you are treated like family. Everyone is great and always make you feel welcomed. Dr. Cowden, I've said it before and it's still true today, he is the BEST.

Everything's well. I have the same dental hygienist who came from another dentist down the street when he found out he had a stage 4 brain tumor. He just died about a month ago. She's really good at her job and I take care of my TV so all the dentist has to do is take X-rays once a year. They take precautionary measures when you come in like still taking your temperature and asking about symptoms. Everyone is masked, they only let so many people in the waiting room at a time and I'm glad to see them taking these precautions because idiots that aren't vaccinated I'm sure would go in there without a mask. I highly recommend.

I have no hesitation in giving Cowden Family Dental 5 stars. They are friendly, professional and kind. Dr Cowden is an excellent dentist and a really great guy. I can't think how they can improve. Top marks in everything.
