I would highly recommend this practice. Dr. Cera was great and regularly checked in with me during my procedures to make sure I was ok. The assistants are very kind and very skilled at what they do. They are the most punctual office with no wait times. Great office.

Top of the line PROFESSIONALS. Always on time, always prepared. I have lived in several major cities, and have had a broad experience with dentists. Dr. Cera and his staff are as good as it gets.

I had a toothache, but no dentist or dental insurance. I called these guys and said I needed relief as soon as possible. They juggled their schedule, called me back in 15 minutes and said they could fit me in. Dr. Roybal fixed me up and because they have great prices, I scheduled a full check-up, and found out that I had a few other dental issues. I made another appointment and had everything taken care of. The experience was very comfortable, the staff is great and you can apply for credit right there and pay it over time, which helped me out so that I could get all of my dental issues taken care of. I recommend!

I recently took my mother to Nortside Dental after being in severe pain for several weeks. She was seen immediately and received great care by the Dr and friendly staff. We will definitely be going back, I would highly recommend this dental office.

Totally inept..

During my first visit I was given a hard sell to spend thousand of dollars on braces. Had I not been in my 40’s and this being the first time in countless visit to dentist for over 3 decades, I might have given it consideration. The dentist seemed pleasant enough, so I let it go and decided to schedule a follow-up cleaning 6 months down the road.

When the appointment time was approaching, I was very sick and left a message on a Thursday evening to cancel an appointment for the coming Monday. I received a bill for the missed appointment. At this point I should have been done with these guys but shame on me, I later re-scheduled the appointment.

I show up on the new appointed time, only to be informed that my appointment was canceled due to neglecting to confirm the appointment. To my surprise I asked how this could be as I received no calls, emails etc. The girl at the desk was completly dismissive and said she made the calls herself. In her haste to prove me wrong it was learned that she called a wrong number. No apology or any sense of blame and simply said I could reschedule.

She said it was “policy” that if the appointment is not confirmed, it gets cancelled. The irony here is that my previous appointment was not only NOT confirmed (I actually left a message that I was not coming) they still sent me bill for the “no-show”.

There are plenty of dentist in Santa Fe. I would suggest you find one that that actually has some genuine care for the patients and a front office with some signs of life.

Needed same day emergency appt and was scheduled within 90mins. Great staff, exceptional care, made me comfortable and handled my needs and concerns very professionally. Explained everything well, I was informed every step of the procedures needed. I quickly became comfortable and in great care.

I had a deeply traumatizing experience with a different dentist over 15 years ago, and until I began going to Northside Dental a little over one year ago, I actively avoided professional dental care of any sort, to my own detriment. I was unable to speak of dentistry, hear others speak of dentistry, or even imagine phoning an office for an appointment without slipping into a panic attack. Then, one day, a molar broke, and I knew I was in a corner I couldn't stay in forever. Making the first phone call was the most difficult thing for me to do as far as interacting with the team at Northside. With every appointment I've had, from cleanings, root canal, to fillings, the level of care and sensitivity at Northside has been top notch. The assistants, Lisa my hygienist, and Dr. Cera all demonstrate caring yet professional attitudes, show genuine interest in my well-being and comfort, and seem incredibly patient with me. I still have a long way to go anxiety-wise, but I know that I have already come a long way, and that I couldn't have done it without their continued gentle support. I've yet to overcome the anxiety enough so that I can properly express the extent and depth of my gratitude in person, but I am grateful to have Dr. Cera as my dentist, to have the support of the Northside team behind me, and most of all, to finally feel trust for a dentist again. If you are a patient suffering with ptsd or dental anxiety, please rest assured that he and his team do everything in their power to meet your needs and bring you comfort, and it's worth it, every step.
