I love this Dental office! From the front desk to the hygienist they are amazing! Bridget worked with me on my appointment time, she was such a blessing. Shelby was my dental hygienist, she was gentle and patient, the two most important qualities you look for when going to the Dentist! Thank you so much ❤️

Wow I had a great experience! The office environment is attractive and comfortable with great background music, complimentary coffee and water. The office staff got me an appointment must sooner than expected and Dr Bahekar and her assistant were awesome! Looking forward to working with them to finish my implant process!

Although this was my consultation, I truly did have a decent experience. I didn’t feel mislead or like nothing was being explained to me. I got numerous reminders prior to my appointment, and when I got there, I was in and out after signing paper work. I can’t wait to return in 6 months for my cleaning and to get some work done!
Lovely business and employees!

I had a bad customer service from an employee named Danielle, lack of professionalism when treating customers as they arrive at the office to register for some kind of service. When I got there she did not greet me and after couple minutes she stated that she was very busy, so I understood and give her plenty of time to take care of me. After waiting for almost 10min., I had to ask to the girl next to her, if she could check me in and she was delightful to help. Danielle, had a bad attitude and she did not delivered any customer service whatsoever. While I am in the waiting room, I overheard how the the nice girl next to her ask her for help to take care of an insurance inquiry I had, and her response was rudely “He needs to wait because I cannot help him now, because I am busy” However, she was having plenty of time doing nothing else than highlighting paperwork and not even answer phone calls. I was looking at her to see what she was doing, because I knew she simply did not want to help. To me that kind of behavior is UNACCEPTABLE! Even having people on the phone, as a front desk representative you take care of the patient in front of you first, it is called being MULTITASK. I talked to the nurse and let her know about the situation, which the nurse indicates that she has already had several reports with different patients due to her rudeness and bad behavior with patients. If this is true I would recommend to have a manager escalate the situation and coach her to what her work etiquette and tasks are, so she can last in her position only if she really cares about her job. I have worked as a bank manager for 10 years and I know what it’s like to deal with customer service. The administration or owners of this dentist office should take immediate action on this matter since the person is a repeat offender. The situation occurred on January 27, 2023 at 3:30 pm. All in all my sister introduced me to this office and besides this situation with Danielle, everyone else from Doctors, Billing, Manager, and the rest of the staff they always have been terrific!

I had such a great experience. Everyone I came across was so polite and attentive, from the front staff to the hygienist. The environment is clean and inviting, I even enjoyed the music. So happy I decided to go here, I completely recommend.

I recently was in Carolinas Dentist for a cleaning and I am very happy to have Kim again as my dental hygienist. Kim previously worked at a Dental office where my husband and I went before switching our dental care to Carolinas Dentist. From the time I first met Kim, she has always done an excellent job with my teeth. She is very thorough and she has such a warm personality. I’m so happy to be sitting in her chair again for my cleanings and whatever other dental services I may need. Kim, you’re the BEST!!!!

Everyone here is very nice and friendly. My dentist is Dr. Amruta Bahekar and she's just about as good as they can get. She is very knowledgeable, nice and compassionate. I usually do not leave ratings but Dr. Bahekar definitely deserves one. I lucked up with her and you will surely be in good hands if ever she is your dentist!

Update (later Oct 26): I received a call from Ms. Brigette and she said she would issue my refund today and explained the insurance and billing process more detailed. She was very nice. I will do a new positive review with more stars once I see a complete refund transaction on my card. 😀

I guess 1 star is good for the initial customer service and the effort of trying to do the root canal. At this point I’m very frustrated! I trusted this particular office (on Glensford Dr) based on all the good reviews, to help me with extreme pain I was having from a tooth. They gave me an appt for the next day. First thing, don’t waist your time filling out all the patient registration questionnaire online because you will still have to do it all over again once you get there. I’ll give them an A+ for customer service except for refunding your money for services not received. So after doing xrays and evaluation I was told what options I had, I decided I wanted to save my tooth and was sent to a young lady to discuss what my portion would be and that I would have to pay half of that amount today and the other half on the day of the root canal. I agreed and paid the half.

On Oct 12, 2022, I arrived to get my root canal and was asked by the young lady at the front desk if I wanted to pay the remaining half of my portion now or after my appt. Based on all these good reviews, I trusted them and paid upfront, thinking to myself “root canal will leave me in pain and I won’t feel like doing that later”.

Well 3 hrs later after doing everything they could do they said something about my nerves are rare, they gave me a temporary filling, and I was referred to their partner office Sandhills. I was also told I wouldn’t be charged for today’s services because the root canal wasn’t completed, but after Sandhills does my root canal to return there for the crown and my payment would be applied to that.

I drove straight to Sandhills with my referral because I tend to procrastinate when things are not done asap. They told me I would be charged an initial fee of $285 just for evaluation because Carolinas Dentist had already started the work and they like to do their own X-rays which is understandable. I’m single, so I don’t have a lot of extra funds that would allow me to pay all these different dentists so the following day (Oct 13) I called Carolinas Dentists and asked them instead of applying my overpayment to services I don’t know that I will return for, could I have a refund so I could pay the other dentist because I don’t have any extra funds on hands. I was told that a note would be placed in my file to refund my credit card once they receive the insurance payment. Last week I logged into my BSBC acct and found that the claim was processed and paid on Oct 13 (the day after my appt). What they don’t know is I’m a biller also, so I know how to research this stuff so they can’t get over on me.

Today is Oct 26 and I checked my credit card acct and still there was no refund or pending credit. I called Carolinas Dentist and was told it would be 2 weeks or more before I would receive my refund because they just received the insurance payment and only the manager can process refunds. I told them that’s not gonna work for me because my mouth is hurting, my Sandhills appt is next week and I have no extra money to give to them so I would need that refund so I can pay Sandhills. So the lady said she’ll leave my name and number with the Asst Manager so she could help me, but so far I haven’t received a call yet. Why do this office feel they can keep people’s money for weeks when they didn’t provide the service? I didn’t tell them that they had to wait 2 weeks or more before they could charge my credit card. I definitely will be finding someone else to do my crown if they don’t refund my credit card and I end up having to cancel my appt with Sandhills and continue to hurt, with no pain meds remaining by the way! I’m trying to remain as one of their customers but right now it’s not looking good. 🥲😡
