No idea how the dentist is as I sat in the waiting room for an hour...yes an hour (very relaxing after the morning I had with my kids). Another person, who was there before I was, finally asked how long it'd be for them. After 5 minutes they were told 10 more minutes and went right back to work. No body acknowledged that I had still been waiting or even mentioned that they were so far behind today. Obviously very busy I decided to reschedule, but no body was at the desk! Left very disappointed and won't be back to find out. I'm sure they're super nice but no communication whatsoever.

I hate to say it but I would not recommend Aspen Dental. The billing department was not good. I tried for almost 6 months to get a hold of someone about my bill and no one called me back. And when I finally got a hold of someone I was talked to like I was an idiot. And I was charged more than I was quoted. Also they billed me an amount then added more to it. Which is unfortunate because the dentist and Hygienist staff were great.

Over diagnosis and trying to do $2000 procedures unnecessarily. Luckily fortunate enough to have a second opinion and they told me I didn’t need any surgery. The worst part is, once I would have this procedure done I would need special cleaning for the rest of my life. Best thing is to get the free X-rays and send them to someone who is competent.

I went to the Aspen Dental in Grand Forks recently. The staff here is very professional, courteous and friendly. A very positive atmosphere. The technology they use is very up-to-date. Very proficient at what they do. the Office Manager, Kaitlyn, was very helpful when explaining the dental plan to me, as well as, scheduling my next appt. I would recommend them for sure.

The office staff is great and it is easy to get in for appointments. They offer easy financing options for more expensive dental work. However, the dentists themselves are either 1) overbooked or 2) lacking in professionalism and timeliness. I came in for a crown prep. I waited 30 minutes to be brought into an exam room, then another 15. Once the dentist finally came in, she and the hygienist were obviously not working well together, very short and snippy behavior between them. An appointment that was supposed to take 2 hours took 3 1/2. Then, I came back a few weeks later to have the final crown placed only to be told that the crown was "bad" and that I would have to have a new one made. Then, that dentist (a different one) proceeded to have to redo the crown prep, make new impressions, and then reattach the temporary crown. Once again, an appointment that should have taken 30 minutes max was now at hour 3, half of which I spent in the exam room waiting because the dentist was running between so many patients. I came back again a few weeks later for the final crown (round 2) and waited for nearly an hour in the waiting room before telling them I was leaving...at which point they got me into a room...where I waited some more. The dentist this time (a different one again...so 3rd dentist in 3 trips) was great, actually and got things done quickly. But, because of the very long wait I had to reschedule the second half of my appointment for another day, meaning having to take more time off work. At this point, I have taken off more than a full day of work time to try to get one tooth fixed and spent most of that time either waiting or having them fix their mistakes. If I were not already in the middle of a treatment plan I would most certainly go elsewhere. Very frustrating.

Broke a crown and they had an available slot, so I drove from Fargo to Grand Forks to get it repaired. Staff was very friendly, professional, and helped me get a plan setup to get back on track.

I had to drop one star because, I had a 3pm appointment and sat waiting in the lobby for an extra 45 mins and wasn’t updated on the longer than expected wait time, which I would have been fine with.

Other than the wait, great experience.

I went in there for an exam and to schedule a tooth extraction. They were all very nice and welcoming. I appreciated that because I dont like having to go to the dentist. I am not very tolerate of pain above the shoulders. When I came back I got in right on time. They were nice again until the procedure began. The assistant was still very nice and understanding but the dentist was a little abrupt and borderline rude. She laughed at my pain when she said " I haven't even applied pressure yet." Which she had and the pain still lingered. I am very familiar with what pain feels like. They ended up sticking me with another needle to make it more numb. It worked and I didnt feel anything after that or make a sound. I shouldn't have been made to feel like I was overreacting and didn't know what I was talking about. I was terrified and in pain. I didnt need the inconsiderate comments to top it off.

Do not go to Aspen Dental. They will scam you out of as much money as they can. They redid one of my crowns which I later found out didn't need to be done. They sold me a $110 dollar electric toothbrush they never informed me about, they just added it to the bill. My wife went in and they told her she didn't have to pay, because unbeknownst to her they signed her up for a Credit card and put the charges on that. And the list goes on. This place is border line evil.

The entire staff was very friendly and incredibly mindful of an issue I was having with a tooth. They made me feel relaxed, and the exam and cleaning was very thorough and easy to get through. Absolutely will continue to go here.

Like so many, fear has kept me away from any and all dental offices. I am happy to say that when I finally got the courage up [not to mention a tooth emergency!] to call Aspen. The group there and the dentist who is taking care of me, have been more than an A+ and way better than a 5 rating. I am so than happy that my friend Becky recommended them to me! Thanks, Becky H. and Aspen Dental!
