Fixari Family Dental

I'm not really sure what to think of this place yet. I came in with severe pain and an abscess in my gums that was infected. The nurses/hygienists were perfectly wonderful and took care of me like I was family. The Dr. upon seeing me did acknowledge the infection, but declined to begin a course of antibiotics without explanation. I can only assume it was because they couldn't check my insurance (Saturday visit) and since I didn't have $1000 just lying around to give them for the procedure he was recommending, they weren't going to get any guaranteed money out of me.

Second opinion from the Dr. at the urgent care facility my family uses that had exactly 0 problems running my insurance on the weekend was to take a round of antibiotics to keep the infection from spreading, pick up a prescription for an appropriate pain medication that didn't interact negatively with my other medications, and follow up with a dentist during the week.

They seem competent, and I'm open to adjusting my review if I go back and am able to get care, but given that the Dr. was willing to let me sit with an untreated infection in my mouth and recommended ibuprofen (which has a dangerous interaction with one of my other meds) I'm hesitant to go back. When I called after my appointment (and before seeking a second opinion) to ask why antibiotics weren't being prescribed and what the risks for delayed treatment were in my situation, I was informed that the Dr. "...might even get back to [me] today!". I can't even eat because of how much pain I'm in, but okay I guess... :/

I can't recommend them in good faith, but likewise I won't tell anyone to steer clear either. Like I said, they seem competent and I probably just had a bad experience because I was a risky patient to take on (from a financial perspective). I still would have preferred an answer other than [just suffer until Monday when we can call to verify your coverage]. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We love Fiaxri! They are professional efficient and quick! We have two boys that are getting orthodontics treatment currently ; very thorough aaysy with explaining plan of treatment.

Dr. Craig, Katie and all the staff are very nice. I was extremely nervous and have avoided dentists for several years, but this team made me feel comfortable and welcome. I'm very appreciative of this office for being so friendly and for the work they've done on my teeth.

I love Fixari dental and highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a friendly atmosphere and Gentle hygiene care. They are connected with you as a patient and go above and beyond to keep you healthy and safe. Before taking my boys to Fixari Dental they hated going for their annual cleanings now they ask when they're going back lol. I'm so thankful!!

Excellent services! The staff is kind and courteous and the office atmosphere is very pleasant and professional. I have been a patient for years and I have been pleased with the treatments provided by Dr. Namazi as well as the others who have seen to my dental needs. Fixari Family Dental is genuinely concerned about the dental health of their patients and I would recommend them to others.

All of the doctors and hygienist are amazing. They provide the best and most gentle dental care. They are compassionate and make the you as a patient so comfortable. The assistants are also amazing in getting you to your room and getting you prepped to see the doctor or hygienist. Very professional and kind staff. If you are looking for great dental care and experience, this is the place to go.

My experience was above great. I had to have a root canal done, and I've never been through this before so I didn't know what to expect. But Dr. Yim and his assistant Sam were very gentle and kept me aware of the process as it was happening. I was unexpectantly relaxed and comfortable. Even the receptionists and the entire team are professional, punctual and kind. Thank you so much Dr. Yim and the Fixari team for the wonderful experience!

I came in today to get a wisdom tooth extraction and it was the most pain free procedure ever. My doctor was incredible and he knew exactly what he was doing. The staff was amazing the environment was also nice and clean. This is my permanent dentist office.

I’ve been going to Fixari for several years and I’m always happy with the customer service here. They really have taken great care of both me and my husband. I started going here because of a dental emergency and left my previous dentist for this practice. Dr. Max fixed a problem for me that was the result of poor quality dental work at another practice. This location is a little far for me considering I live in Powell but I will always make the trip. Thank you!
