The people up front are very unprofessional. They not only billed my insurance under medical but overcharged me 560 dollars. I have been getting the ru around for three weeks and still nothing. They have lied to me and told me I would be refunded in 4 to 6 days and I'm still waiting. Every time I call and ask for a manager I'm told they just stepped out. When I ask for a corporate number they tell me they don't have access to that info. On one occasion the girl I was talking to just started giggling, didn't even try to cover the phone or put me on mute.im so frustrated with this place already.

Dr.Gordon and his staff attended to my dental needs December 26, 2020. If you don't like pain you should NOT go here. I've called several times, spoken with after hours and the office manager and they seem to not care that I'm in pain. I will be making an appointment with another dentist to see if they've botched my gums. There's no space between my cheek and gums on my right side and it's painful all day everyday! Again, if you don't like pain and love being ignored then this is the dentist for you!

Everyone up front is pleasant, Ready to work with you on a dental plan. Update 1/6/21- I've been here for 3 hours in a chair and have not seen the dentist. Came at 9 a.m. its now 12.03 p.m. and I'm still here waiting.. I would leave but they already have my $232 to pull teeth! Ridiculous! Update!!!! Dr. Gordon came in and He is Fantastic! Two more stars just for Dr. Gordon ty... He is awesome!

My first visit and it took them an hour to figure out my insurance so I was in the waiting room for an hour. Then I was sent to the back and practically waited an hour and some for the dentist while they did my X-rays. Then when the dentist finally came to see me he just told me he’d have to do a cleaning and filling on 3 teeth and then left and came back to tell me I qualified for Invisalign’s and then left and went on to others. The nurses gave me info on Invisalign’s and then asked me if I wanted to do the cleaning and filling on my teeth and by then I was already there for almost 3 hours and I was just ready to go home so I said I’d come back another day. The nurses and dentist were very friendly though.

The billing company they use is horrible. Sent me an incorrect bill. Multiple calls with no response just to correct and try to pay the bill.

I love JDO everyone is so nice and caring. Always asking me if I’m doing okay. Dr. Wang is the most professional doctor I’ve ever been treated by and the dental assistants are caring and very helpful and answered all my questions thoroughly. The manager explained to me my treatment plan and she was very helpful with everything as well. I recommend everyone to make JDO their dental office they will be in great hands👍👏👏

I rec'd the following text (I replaced the name with ----): "Hello -----, Dr. Wang at Jefferson Dental and Orthodontics-Jefferson Dental & Orthodontics - Baytown asked me to set up an appointment for your 6-month dental checkup. We're offering free teeth whitening after your cleaning (and treatment, if needed) for a limited time. 😊Does morning or afternoon work better for you?" I set up the appt for my son, which was then confirmed. The day of the appt, I rec'd a voicemail approx 1 hr prior that there was no room for my son's appt and would have to reschedule. I called, said that I had already left work to take my son there and was told that I could come but it would be an hr later. I agreed. The hr turned into 3 hrs. This was after we called many times to let them know we were outside (as they requested due to social distancing) and no one answered. When someone finally did, she left me on hold until i was prompted to leave a voice msge. I then went into the office, explained my situation and my son was put on the list to be seen (so i guess they hadn't done that before). Two separate times (on the phone and at the office) I asked about the free cleaning and the first time was told that he would get it if he completed the treatment. The second time I was told that she would communicate with the Dr. After my son's teeth were cleaned, i asked for the third time, and was told that the Dr. said it was only for cash paying patients and not for patients with insurance. Really?! This seems like false advertisement because no where in the text sent to me did it say that. ...and had the nerves to tell me that it was a mass text sent out to others. Is this what is referred to as "bait and switch"? By the way, my son didn't even need any treatment ...only the cleaning. Terrible customer service.
