I scheduled a check up here for my child & myself four months ago. My child was seen one day, I was to go in the next. The week prior, they called to verify his insurance. I confirmed the dentist with his insurance and was told I could choose any place that accepts mine.
So, my child gets X-rays, a cleaning and exam from the dentist. All went well in that regard.
The evening before my appointment, they call to inform me they DON'T take my insurance. Wait... So you confirmed my child's last week, took our money for his appointment, established care with all the forms and jazz... NOW you the same insurance is not accepted with the "adult" dentist.
That's shady, imho. They blamed their "call center" for the mistake and refused to address the fact that they called a week before my child's appointment yet hours before mine. They got the money for my child while I'm left having to find a new dental home for both of us when they could have been HONEST 4 months ago!!
Choose a different office if you want to be treated like a human not a dollar figure.
