Restoration Smiles - Dentist Tomball

I found Restoration Smiles a couple months ago when I was searching for a pediatric dentist for my 2 sons. Due to insurance reasons, I ended up bringing them to a different practice (Lovette Dental) where we had a less than desirable experience.
Feeling confused and uncertain how to move forward, I reached out to Restoration Smiles again. The receptionist allowed me to explain my issues, empathizing with me the entire conversation AND even apologized for our poor experience at the other dental practice! She invited and welcomed us in for a second opinion.
Our experience at Restoration Smiles was very different than our first go-round at Lovette. The receptionist is sweet, knowledgeable, and seems to be one step ahead on everything. The dental assistants exercised great patience with my 4 year old and 22 month old. The dentist was very nice, explained everything, and took her time to make us feel very comfortable. The entire team made sure everything was covered and that I didn't have any other questions and even encouraged me to call if I needed any more clarification on anything.
This was the first dental encounter(s) for my babies, so I wanted to avoid them being traumatized... I believe if we had stayed with other practice, that's exactly what would have happend. Thanks to Restoration Smiles, I don't have to worry about a negative outcome any longer! I believe we've found our family dentist to address all future needs.

The best dentist and dental office I have ever been to! Starting with the front desk, everyone was very nice, attentive, and seemed to honestly care about me. Dr. Mai was very patient with me and was able to explain to me everything that was going on with my teeth. She made this dental visit the best dental visit I have ever had and she was able to calm my anxiety about dental work and visits. I cannot wait to start my treatment with Dr. Mai and her staff!

Dr. Matthew Lopp was so kind and caring. I had a bad experience with a previous dentist and Dr. Lopp was so compassionate and understanding. The staff was amazing as well. Highly recommend them.

Efficient. Excellent. Ease. I never use these words in the same sentence as "dentist," but yes, these were the words in my head upon finishing up my visit. Usually I think things more like "Despicable, Dental Dictator, D--- you" at the teeth torturer's office. Like most normal people in life, I hate dental visits. However, my experience here has been nothing but positive. The staff was effective in scheduling & processing paperwork, as well as working quickly through any confusing insurance-related issues. But let's get to the meat & potatoes of this experience.

I despise dentists that just dig into your mouth & bombard you with patronizing "do-better" cliches on oral care. Not only was Dr. Mai effective during the cleaning, but she was also thoughtful and patient, in explaining both my teeth condition & helpful suggestions for better care. To add on to that, she was sincere & transparent in breaking down what possible procedures might be necessary down the road.

After a lifetime of hatred towards dentists, I wish I'd found Dr. Mai earlier in life. My teeth feel good, I now feel the urge to confess my sugary sins when I see her, and I can respect at least 1 dentist on this earth. Maybe. Hasta la vista, Restoration Smiles.

I had a great visit where everyone was awesome and very Knowledgeable and professional.

Dr. Mai was amazing! She made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process and made going to the dentist an enjoyable and calming experience rather than the anxious, nerve-racking experiences I've felt with other dentists. Her staff are all very friendly! TV's on the ceiling was a very nice touch!

This was such a nice, clean and professional office. The staff members are all very sweet & helpful. I went in for some work, with tons of anxiety, and Dr. Mai talked me through everything so that there were no surprises, and so that I was as comfortable as possible.
Plus, you get to binge watch your favorite Netflix show during your visit which makes the experience that much better! Dr. Mai and all of the staff members genuinely care about your wants and needs, and they go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. From the time you walk in til the time you leave, the customer service is amazing. I definitely recommend!! When I go back for my next visit, it will be the first time I’m not dreading my upcoming dentist appointment. Thank you to everyone at Restoration Smiles, y’all are awesome! :)

Love love Dr. Mai! I drink coffee everyday and she was able to remove my stains. She was so gentle that I didn’t feel a thing. I appreciated how thorough she was over my X-rays. The staff was super sweet and loved the text as well as phone call reminder for my appointment.

I’ve never had a dental office provide entertainment, and loved the ability to watch shows on Netflix while she worked on my teeth. You truly feel how much love she has for her office as well as making her patients feel as comfortable as possible.

I’m moving to Philly but will fly back to Texas for my appointments - this is how much I love her as my doctor.
