The staff is excellent in every regard: welcoming, proficient, hygienist was excellent, greeting and exam by dentist thorough. The question of charges at the end of the preliminary visit took me aback. The normal charges they said were “ deeply discounted” because “first visit promotional credits”. This gave cause to wonder what charges would be after the promotional discount for first-time visit. I will try other clinics in Tyler to compare regular charges for cleaning and annual exam.

The Dentist at Smith Dental are too notch! The receptionist - fantastic! The Dental Hygienist was a far cry from acceptable, I believe her name was Brittani, not good.

Smith Dental Care has always been very considerate of my phobias about dentist. I have more than a few bad experiences with dentist, not only with pain but also with their belittling me and/ or shaming me about the condition of my teeth. It wound up being so bad I could not enter a dentist office without having a panic attack or crying uncontrollably.
Smith Dental staff treated me with kid gloves and never made me feel insecure. They offered sedation dentistry which was vital for my peace of mind and my panic/ crying issues. Thank God they are as caring and professional as they are. I'm terrified of the thought of going elsewhere for Dental care. I do not live in Tyler... and would drive almost any distance to keep them as my choice for Dental care. Please if anyone else has suffered as I have at the hand of inconsiderate dentist... give Smith Dental Care a chance, you won't regret it.
