Monarch Dental & Orthodontics

I haven’t been to the dentist in almost 20years. So needless to say I needed a lot of work but only have so much time off. They were able to work with me on scheduling and the cash price to have all the work done was fair. The people are very nice and easy to work with.

I normally have had a really good experience here but my latest appointment I did not feel like I was taking care of. I was checked in and then had to wait for 25 minutes before the receptionist pooked her head out and asked if I was waiting for someone. I told her that I was just waiting for my appointment and she seemed surprised. I could hear them talking about me from the back trying to figure out what to do with me. Finally someone came and told me that it's going to be another 10 minute wait and was wondering if I wanted to reschedule. I had asked why it's taking so long and why other people were being taken to the back in front of me. They said that they only had three providers that day. I totally understand having to wait and it being outside of the control a lot of the times. However, it seemed like they literally forgot about me and were trying to gaslight me. If the wait was going to be that long originally I wish that they had told me so I could prepare or at least kept me updated. I had a baby with me that was already starting to get antsy and was going to lose it if he had to wait too much longer. Again, I understand having to wait, but in this instance, I think that they forgot about me and were trying to make it seem like it wasn't their fault.

I really like going to Monarch Dental on Riverdale. Everyone is very nice and thoughtful. They were a little busy during my last visit but they kept me informed what was going on and how long before they would get back to me. I didn't just sit in a room waiting or thinking they forgot me. I recommend you give them a try.

I had a good experience, all the staff is super nice. The dentist is very nice and informative. The lady up front that helps with the financing side of things is way nice and understanding of your financial situations. I like how they have discount programs you can sign up for and get a loan if needed to make monthly payments. Most dental offices won’t do that, if you don’t have dental insurance you have to pay the full price right away. Only issue I had was receiving a shower from all the water during the 1 1/2 hrs they were doing work on my teeth. I only got some cavities filled but 2 days later my jaw still kills and I can’t open it much. I think because of all the numbing shots, seems like the way he injected it made it hurt more and I’m swollen on that side like I just got my wisdom teeth out of something. My previous dentist that never happened. All though these were some very big and deep cavities, so maybe the more drilling contributed to it.

Monarch Dental in Riverdale is amazing. I like the way they do such a fantastic job, and Dr Z is outstanding. I truly have confidence in my dentist, and know that he's giving it his best everyday.

I got a text reminder for my appointment the day before, then the very next day they cancelled my appointment. Very unprofessional what if other companies did that? And why is there only one dentist at this office? I suggest taking your buisness elsewhere. Anywhere else actually. The raccoon family behind my house is more professional than that.

Not a place to go if you are looking for help with your teeth. The dentist was rude and unprofessional. My mother was crying after her appointment no one should leave a business upset. Thomas didn’t take care of her needs.

I miss understand the Monarch Dental discount card. I thought it included two cleanings as well for the year. So that was my bad for not fully understanding. But when I opted out of the cleaning and just wanted to x-rays and exam, I felt like they just wanted to rush me out the door.
I specifically went in for a filling repair that I knew I was needing. The dentist came in and missed it completely so I had to point it out again. I felt like it wasn’t a thorough exam at all.
It was nice they told me exactly what to expect cost wise for my next appointment.
Come my next appointment for the filling, I again felt rushed through… the assistant and dentist wasn’t the most welcoming but overall all was well. however, not sure I would continue going to Monarch dental after my year discount care expires.
The facility itself seems a little run down and dingy.
The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Dr Z is the best dentist! I never dread going to the dentist anymore. Dr Z is compassionate, caring and personable. I think he’s just a wonderful guy. I tell everyone I know to go see Dr Z at Monarch Dental!

I I've been coming to Monarch for many many years. And I thank you guys for the continuous wonderful service. You always so friendly professional courteous impatient. Technicians take time to explain any questions in the front desk staff is amazing. Thank you for all you do have a blessed day. What can I do to make you smile?😉
