It is clear their approach starts at the top with hiring friendly, compassionate and proficient employees — from the receptionists to hygienists to those who handle billing and scheduling. Finally, we’ve felt comfortable continuing with our regular six month cleanings, in light of the safety measures they’ve implemented.
When we’ve had to (reluctantly) switch hygienists because of scheduling conflicts on our end, we’ve been pleasantly surprised that the same care and professional approach we’ve come to expect carries over. Thank you all!

My whole family has been going here for as long as I can remember! I now live all the way out in Louisa, but would never consider another dentist. Carrie is my dental hygienist and she is always a pleasure to talk to and is always willing to answer my questions! She always asks about my family and is very personable. I have also been seen by Dr. Adams and Dr. Epperly who are also wonderful! I absolutely love the staff and the service I get with them every time I come in.

I have been coming here for roughly 5 years or so and overall it's been a good to great practice. There are small things one could nitpick but I think you will find a number of those anywhere else so I won't go into detail.
However, my most recent experience has made me question if I will return. Apparently my regular dentist has taken an indefinite leave of absence from clinical work. She is fantastic and I hope she can return soon! But my point is I didn't find out until my hygienist had me in the chair for my latest cleaning so I saw whichever rando dentist happened to be available at that time.
I don't know, maybe I'm weird, but I would think that if your regular health practitioner was leaving or even home sick that day and wouldn't be seeing you that the office should let you know ahead of time? Give you a choice to reschedule?
After all, the dentist is the reason I truck across town to this particular office. I don't come here because I like the waiting room or they give out great goodie bags. I come here because I found a dentist I liked. If she is no longer part of the equation then help me to make an informed decision about my health and where to spend my time and money. I don't think that's unreasonable but I realize I may be an outlier in that respect.

My hygienist, Helena. Is awesome. Dr. Graham, who is new to me, was super friendly and helpful. I will miss Dr. Beck who has retired, but the entire staff and experience at Grove Avenue Family Dentistry is great. I’ve been a patient for 10+ years and intend to remain so forever.

Grove Avenue family dentistry is the only dentist office that I’ve ever enjoyed visiting. Dr. Adams and his amazing staff are top notch and always make me feel comfortable and welcome. They seem to have all of the latest and greatest dental technology and my appointments are always quick and painless. Bethany is the best hygienist on the planet and will get your teeth feeling fresh and clean! This is the only dentist office for me.

The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. Dr.Randolph and her assistant, Alexa were very welcoming and made me feel like I was right at home as soon as I was in the chair. Not only did they take their time answering my many questions but they put me at ease throughout the whole process. Im so happy to finally find a dentist that I don’t have to dread going to. 100% would recommend!
