Horrible experience with West Richland Family Dental. I can finally write about it. December 2018. I came in for a very painful toothache. Saw the SR. Maxfield. He examined my jaw and said " looks very angry," He didn't know what to think. He prescribed a mouth rinse, and come back in a month. About a month later and the pain grew more intense. I called to make another appointment, luckily I got an appointment with a different dentist. He was very concerned on what he saw. He set me up with an oral surgeon , right away. Very serious! Biopsy came back, a very aggressive cancer. How could something like this be missed. Even drs after the fact said hard to miss this... WRFD said on the phone they screen for oral cancer. Then Spokane for surgery recommended by oral surgeon, prostitic for the roof of my mouth. Had to remove a large part of my upper jaw and roof of my mouth. After surgery, chemo and radiation. Cancer free but a lot of damage. Trismus has happened, worse case drs have seen. Swallowing very difficult. Can't eat and on a feeding tube, Probably for the rest of my life, no saliva glands. Very difficult to talk. Maybe if this was diagnosed the first time at WRFD, my life would of been better.

Really nice service and team of doctors and assistants. Dr. Ronald Maxfield worked on my front teeth and did amazing job. people could never suspect they are not real teeth, he also worked on my back tooth. Safe to say, I love his work

I've never encountered a staff member who wasn't helpful, empathetic, and warm. Everyone is fantastic and you can tell that they really want to help you. Their membership program helps those of us who can't afford insurance to get a discount on the services we need.

Just moved to Richland and after a recommendation met with Dr. Larson at West Richland Family Dental for my first teeth cleaning. Honestly, I didn't know teeth were supposed to be cleaned this thoroughly. The staff was friendly and took the time needed to do my cleaning better then it's ever been done before. Love, love, love them! They are very nice, quick, and supportive. I get very anxious when it comes to the dentist. They did really good on keeping me calm and walking me through each step they did. They made sure I was in an out, did not keep me waiting at all.

I love WRFDC! The front staff is always gracious and makes me feel welcome. I have seen my hygienist, Loretta, for years and I highly recommend her. I have never had dental anxiety because they make you feel relaxed, not pressured, and genuinely want the best for your health. Hands down the best dental office in the Tri Cities!
