I would definitely recommend Flint River Dental.
I have been a patient of Dr. Darby for a year.
I was new to Huntsville and chose Flint River because of good reviews. Dr. Darby and her staff are so sweet and gentle. They treat you like family. I don’t have dental insurance so it’s important to know up front what the charges are going to be. They quote a charge for service and that’s what it is. There have been no surprise charges. The wait times have been great. You won’t be disappointed.

Going to the dentist is the biggest fear I have in life. It took me a while to find Dr. Darby and her staff and I would not take anything for them. They are very understanding and patient with my situation. They do everything they can to make it as comfortable as an experience as possible. She is very honest with me and does everything she promises. Love her and her staff. I would highly recommend her to anybody and especially people that have the fear like I do at a dentist.

Dr. Darby is an excellent dentist. All the staff are very courteous. They are very punctual. The staff do a great job . When I got a crown everything was explained clearly and it was done well. Dr. Darby is gentle when working on your teeth. Dr. Darby is very knowledgeable and is very thorough in ensuring you get the best dental care.

My daughter has extreme anxiety when going to the dentist. The wonderful staff at Flint River Dental have helped her deal with this anxiety. They are sweet and offer encouragement when she is being seen. The tech she is most comfortable with makes sure to schedule her so she always sees a friendly face when she goes into the exam chair. Going to the dentist or any doctor during the pandemic makes one a little nervous but the staff and procedures in place at Flint River Dental exceeded my expectations and I didn’t feel a bit nervous. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable! I came away with a sweet swag bag filled with a tshirt, cup & pen as well as your typical toothpaste/toothbrush/floss set with my first cleaning. This will definitely be my dentistry home in AL!!

Flint River Dental is amazing and the entire staff has been wonderful. I needed a lot of work done and was seeking a consultation. I am extremely fearful of dentists due to a horrifying experience in my childhood. They were amazing and made me feel so comfortable during the consultation so I did not even bother looking elsewhere. They have done everything to make me as comfortable as possible and Dr. Darby and staff always make sure I am comfortable and not in pain. They have been so helpful and kind while I get everything done. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Flint River Dental. This is a great dentist office in general but especially great with people who have anxiety and fears about dentists.

Friendliest dentist I've ever had. Everyone is kind including the front desk. They all know my name and are quick to answer my questions. Dr. Darby is very good, she calls and checks on you after you've had a procedure and will call you back if you call after hours with an emergency. Great family dentist!

Update: Always great visits with Flint River Dental. Saw Dr. H for the first time and was very pleased with him as well. Dr. Darby did well. Was impressed with their system during the CoVid crisis. Felt very safe in their space. So glad we made the switch to Flint River Dental years ago!
Megan was my hygienist this morning and she was fabulous. This was my first time with her as I generally have Keisha but she was a joy and a great addition to the team. Always happy to see and chat with Dr. Darby for a few and everyone in the office is very friendly and professional. Would recommend Flint River Dental to everyone!
