As a dental hygienist myself, I'm VERY careful and cautious when choosing a Dentist for myself and my family. From the first visit several years ago, I have been very impressed with Flint River Dental. Dr Darby, along with her hygienists, assistants, and staff are very professional, gentle, and knowledgeable with current dental procedures. They make you feel right at home and comfortable. The office itself is also very clean and sterile which is also very important to me. I would definitely recommend Dr Darby and the entire Flint River Dental team to anyone.

Hands down absolute best dentist I've ever been yo, I'm not too proud to say that I got 7 crowns from them but they were very good during all of the procedures. Called them today about some pain in my jaw and upper and lower right teeth, they were able to get me in same day. Both Dr. Darby and Dr. Henninger are great. The dentist is not something most consider enjoyable but all of the Flint River Dental staff make every visit the best possible.

I am once again updating my review this time April 2022. I have just completed some restorative dentistry from Flint River Detail. I still feel the same about them. I was treated extremely well from both a dental and customer stand point. They are highly professional and I am thankful to Dr. Amy and all who assisted.

I am updating my review the original which was done four months ago and is contained and marked at the bottom.
Yesterday May 29th 2020 I had another procedure at Flint River dental. This time with dr. Henninger. as the first time I was very happy at the total lack of any pain during the removal and replacement of old silver fillings. I'm not sure how they do it. Not even the needle insertion. Nothing.
I had a number of questions of the dentist before we started. Dr. Henegar took the time to answer them directly and clearly.
I was also very pleased with the special precautions they were taking because of the covid-19 virus. I won't take up space here but I felt very comfortable and as safe as I possibly could be by their process of screening and checking.
Another five stars for the entire team at Flint River dental.

This was my first visit and it was a good one. I'm of social security age so counting my pennies is important. I was very pleased with the treatment plan that Dr. Darby came up with. She took into account my desires and goals. My previous dentist just saw dollar signs.
I found the office administration staff to be very efficient and pleasant to work with. The dental tech Holly went out of her way to explain what she was doing and why and to keep my mind off of things that had to be done while she was cleaning my teeth. A+++.
I found Flint River dental have their act together from start to finish and it made me feel very comfortable as a new patient. Highly recommended.

I had a ton of anxiety and Dr. Darby was amazing. She even checked in on me that night to see how I was doing. That kind of patient care goes a long way in my books!

Amazing staff and service at FRD! Communication was prompt and super easy to follow. They took every safe and proactive measure during this COVID pandemic. The staff were friendly and courteous and made the whole process a breeze. In particular the hygienist assigned for my cleaning was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. They talked me through every part of the cleaning and informed me of the background and reasoning for each step. I greatly appreciated this in depth breakdown and learning more after having 20+ years of routine cleanings. Would recommend this dentistry to any and everyone.
