The staff is extremely inviting & attentive & Katie (Dental hygienist) is the sweetest & keeps great conversation. Not to mention that the chairs are extremely comfortable. I started going to Dr. Krauss when I had a broken & abscessed tooth. My tooth was throbbing, and I was in a lot of pain. I was afraid of having anything done to that tooth after another Dentist had difficulty numbing it and tried to work on it. I spent time researching Dentists and I found Dr. Krauss. He assured me that he would be able to treat the tooth correctly, and I would be pain free. Dr. Krauss even numbed my gum topically before giving me the injection. I didn't have to feel anything. I felt nothing during the root canal procedure. With my tooth repaired, I was relieved and so happy to have found a very competent, skilled and caring Dentist that cares about his patient's comfort. I trust Dr. Krauss and all of his staff. It is always reassuring to know that he will make sure I am comfortable and pain free during all procedures. My whole family goes to him. Mostly, I can trust him to make sure my kids are well taken care of and pain free if they need any work done. His staff ( Amber, Monique, Susie, Roni, etc) are wonderful, too. They are kind and courteous and help me with all of my needs. I am so grateful for Bakersfield Smile Design and Dr. Krauss!

It was my first time going to the dentist in almost 20 years. I was nervous, and had a bad experience with another dentist the week before, (made a switch)but the receptionist and the young lady that did my exam was friendly gave my a lot of information about my teeth and made me feel at ease. The Dr was also friendly and it didnt feel rushed or pushed into getting anything i didnt want. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment either. The only downside was that there was no parking near the office, but the receptionist help choosing a time and date where there would be. I loved the overall vibe.
