Very up-to-date with a lot of their technology. It was very fast in and out visit but they didn’t rush at all, they are just very organized and direct with the information given so it allows them to have good time management skills. Very nice little office I like it a lot. My first visit to dr Krauss was yesterday and I would definitely recommend

Dr is very rude to his own staff, it’s sad. The girls are lovely but drs attitude is horrible. Also I feel like his answer to every dental problem is a cap that cost 1000+ , and it took multiple visit for the cap to be on properly and it isn’t even big enough and my actual tooth is exposed still . Wouldn’t recommend at all

Bakersfield Smile Design and his entire staff are kind, gentle and very considerate of the patient. I sat there very embarrassed yet excited for my turn. I could here the Dr. and staff with the patients around me it really help relax me. I am so scared of the dentist and like most moms your appt. comes after the whole family. However putting mine off was a horrible idea because I started have medical issues which really didn't help my dental health. However as embarrassed as I was to finally take my turn at the dentist. They all tried so hard to make me feel comfortable. They had holiday music playing which Dr. Kraus would ask to have turned up and down as he used noisier instruments. He used some vibrate thing while numbing my mouth it was awesome I barely felt the shots at all. I have never had a kinder more pleaseant dentist appt. Yes your mouth will be sore from holding it open. But thank you Dr. Krause you and your staff gave me my confidence and my SMILE back. I could never thank you enough. Sore or not I am still smiling.

Dr. K. and his staff are really cool. Basically, they are the best thing since sliced bread was invented... and I'm not kidding. They've done some absolutely fantastic dental work on my teeth. Therefore, in retrospect, I must say that I'm truly appreciative and thankful that I was referred to him by one of my collegues.

I wanted to find out my insurance coverage so I left a copy of my insurance with the staff on Jan. 18th. and she informed me she will call me which was fine, however, I didn't receive a phone call. I called them on the 20th to see if they had looked into the insurance coverage but they hadn't and would call me. It's been weeks and I haven't received a phone call. Good customer service seems to be a thing of the past.

I am giving one start because I was informed after my cleaning I was not in network after being told I was. I went from expecting a $0 visit to $140. That is unacceptable. They should have ran my insurance information prior to me getting any work done vs being surprised at the end of my visit. I would have gone to someone in network otherwise. They even did standard xrays which again I wouldn’t have agreed to thinking it was coming out of pocket. This is simply unacceptable
