Central Park Modern Dentistry

This was a wonderful office, everyone was so friendly and kind. The hygienist/dental assistant was so kind and explained everything she was doing, which definitely helped with my anxiety. I am happy I found Central Park Modern Dentistry.

Going to the dentist is never fun but if a place can make it fast, painless, and friendly, that’s really all you can ask for. And this place delivers! During Covid, I felt safe and could see the office cleaning through out the day. Everybody was super friendly and communicative. My hygienist explained everything she was doing and made it painless. Would highly recommend!

Everyone was friendly, and the process was smooth. The review after my exam was very comprehensive, and it was nice to have my treatment options broken down and explained. I also appreciated that they are completely transparent with cost, breaking down what is covered by insurance and what is the patient's responsibility. Based on my visit, I would recommend this place to friends and family.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE IF YOU VALUE GREAT DENTAL CARE AND LIVING PAIN FREE!! DOCTOR PHAN CAN NOT BE TRUSTED AND THEY HAVE INOPERATIONAL EMERGENCY SERVICE! There is miles and miles better dental care in any direction from this. You can go to Modern Dentistry of Northfield or City Smiles in Lowry. Either one will give you exceptional care compared to what you receive at this DUMP of an office. First, they run it like a car shop. You will be lucky to spend 5 minutes with an actual doctor and there is only the one on staff. It is TERRIBLE to say the least. It is literally head to toe. Every single person in this office is terrible at what do.

Now for my specific nightmare. I went in for a routine deep cleaning that I have been getting for the past 8 years at other offices. The tech was extremely harsh and I felt pain during it like I have never felt before. It was the second time she cleaned my teeth and first time was a nightmare as well. I almost requested a different person. Man, I should have. After leaving the cleaning my teeth were noticeably more uncomfortable than they ever have been. That discomfort constantly and consistently turned to pain over the next 48 hours leading to Friday afternoon. At that point it is noticeably getting worse. I tried calling their emergency service phone number 17 times over the weekend and it does not connect to anything. I just get a dial tone every single time. I barely slept Saturday and Sunday and on Sunday, I was moments away from going to emergency services somewhere. Somehow I made it through the weekend in the worst pain ever imaginable. I would trade the pain from my dislocated knee for the pain they caused and made me suffer through.

Monday I call Stapleton Modern Dental and they could barely even fit me in for the emergency that they created. I was given one time slot as an option. When I go to the exam I clearly tell Dr. Phan that my tooth has very obviously been hurting since my cleaning from the past week and she COMPLETELY IGNORES ME and repeatedly tells me, "that I cracked my tooth over the weekend." I continue to tell her 3 more times that it has not stopped hurting from the cleaning and she repeats three more time, "you must have cracked it over the weekend." They then sent me home on aspirin and ibuprofen for the day to deal with the pain. There was zero they could do and were happy to send me off in pain for another 24 hours. GROSS! Also, the 2 people in the office that I talked to, Anita and Maribel, were the absolute worst. Zero compassion and understanding of anything. It is every part of the office. The tech, the doctor, the front desk and everyone in their back office. You can't find anyone who knows what they are doing in any aspect of the office or treatment.

Needless to say, this office will have a lawsuit coming from me that is considered, "A SLAM DUNK."

Due to the nightmare I was in constant contact with Modern Dentistry of Northfield and they WERE AMAZING!!! When Stapleton Modern Dental sent me away in pain on Monday with no solution Northfield stepped up right away!! They did a procedure that day to COMPLETELY ALLIVIATE ALL MY PAIN!!!! I went back to have to rest of the procedure done with Northfield even though Stapleton was going to offer to fix it for free!!! NO WAY WAS I LETTING THEM NEAR MY MOUTH AGAIN!!! The Doctors at Modern Dentistry of Northfield are the best and the entire staff is sooooo friendly and amazing. DO NOT WASTE ANOTHER MINUTE CONSIDERING THIS DUMP OF AN OFFICE!!!

This office is amazing! Friendliest staff, beautiful waiting area and awesome music. Dr. Phan is simply magical with her talent. I had an old cavity that needed to be refilled - the shot was painless, the procedure was swift and the next day I couldn't even tell I had work done. If you're looking for a dental office, this is the one!! Karena

I recently moved to the area and chose Stapleton Modern Dental after reading great reviews online. The staff were very friendly and professional. My hygienist was very thorough and had a gentle hand. She explained everything as she went and was very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend!

Very pleasantly impressed with this place. The staff is great and knowledgeable. There is a reason they have so many good reviews. It can be very hard to find a dentist you like, feel comfortable with, and trust, these establishment does all that. I felt very relaxed as soon as I walked in. I am glad I found them.

Everyone was super friendly and took the time to explain the process step-by-step. It was a clean facility. I had purchased a Groupon for an exam, x-rays, and cleaning. They were sure to examine me and make sure everything was okay before proceeding. At the end they explained what they found (cavities) and gave me a breakdown of their pricing and their savings plan. They were not pushy about doing work there (as I don't have dental coverage) and sent me on my way with a printout explaining what they found. I hope to go back for dental work (once I have coverage).

This was my first time and everyone from the front desk staff to the hygienists to the dentist made me feel welcome and appreciated. I love that they ask you survey questions to better get to know you and your concerns. When I sat down in the hygienist’s chair, she thought I was there for a cleaning... I guess I miscommunicated with the office staff when I made the appointment because I just wanted to get a chip in my tooth fixed. The hygienist was super accommodating and worked quickly to remedy the issue. The dentist, Dr. Phan, was awesome in that she was so gracious about fixing the tooth even though it wasn’t scheduled. Everyone just seemed very genuine and so nice in a place that usually gives me anxiety. I appreciate this office so much and can’t wait to go back for my cleaning in a few months!

This dentist office is, confusingly, reviewed incredibly highly. On the day of my appointment, I received a call asking me to come in over an hour earlier than my scheduled appointment time, otherwise I would need to reschedule. This was bewildering and there was no explanation given for this bizarre, last minute request (despite receiving both emails and calls asking me to confirm my previously established appointment time).

Upon arriving, the dental hygienist was incredibly friendly, and provided an appropriate level of care, but the dentist, Dr. Phan, spent less than two minutes at the bedside, and did not once ask if I had any questions. This was all the more horrifying as after my two minutes with Dr. Phan, I was informed by the hygienist I had gingivitis. What did this mean? What were my next steps? I had to rely on the dental hygienist, who nice as they were, did not have any real knowledge about the condition.

Two months later, I started receiving calls from the office that I had an overdue bill. This was confusing as my insurance was excellent and should have covered the full visit. The front desk staff involved in attempting to collect these funds from me were far from friendly, and despite multiple mistakes on their end (which I learned upon multiple discussions with my dental insurance) continued to call me and pester me. At one point, my dental insurance customer service agents called the front desk staff directly to petition them to submit the paperwork appropriately!

Nonetheless, this office continues to call me and ask me for the outstanding balance even though the outstanding bill will be addressed by my dental insurance. I will never return to this office, and would recommend anyone interested in appropriate (let alone good) dental care and friendly staff go elsewhere. I am on my search for a new dentist, so if anyone has recommendations, I am all ears!
