Worst business, makes no effort to fix mistakes. New patient appointments take 2-3 months to get. I waited three months for an appointment for my son and the day before was called to be told it was cancelled and bumped out another three weeks because the hygienist wouldn't be there. This is after I called multiple times for emergency appointment for my son who was seen in the emergency room with an abscess. The staff couldn't have cared less. Paid upfront for a surgical extraction two months in advance, called office day of to confirm so no one from office had called. Was told they could see the credit but no appointment for today. I had scheduled time off of work for this and paid upfront, again all I got was the usual I'm sorry with no action to fix it. Asked to speak to manager who of course was not available. Now they offer a November appointment. I have never been to a business worse than this one.

My experience here was amazing. From the time I walked in I was treated w nothing but compassion & empathy. The whole staff could see how much pain I was in due to an infected tooth & they went above & beyond to make me feel comfortable. There were complications w my insurance & the ladies handled it & told me not to worry. I was seen by the dentist then immediately referred to an oral surgeon who removed the tooth not even an hour later at a different location. If it wasn’t for this amazing staff I would still be in the immense amount of pain I walked in with. From the front desk to the dental hygienist you all are AWESOME! Thank you so much!!!

I was not a fan of this dentist location, my mom gave me my wrong insurance card, and I was not covered with the insurance card I had since it was the wrong one. Once the dentist office decided that they were just very quick with me. The doctor did a 2 second consultation, when she first asked me why I came which was for wisdom teeth pain she looked over my teeth in two seconds and was like why are you here again, and I told her once again. The dentist assistant however was very nice and sociable , but doctor was not. She told me I can get my wisdom teeth taken out whenever , and it didn't matter, I do not suggest to anyone. I was concerned because I had braces and wanted to avoid having to get braces again if possible. I felt very unwanted there, and even the lady when I got to the end was very quick with going over the prices with me, I guess it was close to her shift being over so she rushed me out the door, and when I waited in my car I saw her walk out a few seconds behind me and she made no eye contact with me. I guess she knew she was wrong. I only gave them one star because of the dentist assistant, she was black i am not sure her name but i liked her. Other then that everyone else was rude especially the doctor, which is a shame.

Listen, I had a tooth extraction and a bone graft done by Dr. Nikola Skakavac. I must say that I am more than satisfied with his caring attitude, level of expertise, and his ability to work well with his dental assistant, Sierra Sistrunk. Sierra is a gem of a person and an excellent dental assistant. The staff overall, from the front desk to the finance department, was very helpful and professional. My experience at Aspen Dental in Gainesville Florida as a whole was a glowing success!
Bravo!

Well first of all the experience was fine and the staff seemed very professional. The kicker is that the prices for the services are astonomically high and that is a real down side to your business. Before coming the Aspen dental I visited a few other dentist offices just to compare the prices and that's where I got a real sticker shock . Sorry bout this review but it is what it is . Hey I live off of a fixed budget and for the services that would have been rendered I would have been paying for a new car.

I had 3 appointments in the month of December and all of them were late anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. While the staff was apologetic, it does not excuse such blatant disrespect for my time. They have a sign that states if the patient is late for an appointment or does not cancel, they will charge a fee. Well, perhaps they should apply the same rule to themselves.
They recommended a deep cleaning, which I reluctantly agreed to. I have had regular cleanings every 4 months and my former hygienist was very thorough. This "deep cleaning" took about half an hour, while my former hygienist spent almost an hour on a routine one. The deep cleaning that I had 3 years ago actually required 2 appointments and took well over an hour each time. They also recommended an anesthetic for the cleaning at an additional cost, which I refused. Good thing that I did as she barely touched my gums. I feel that they completely misrepresented their services. On a positive note, I also had a filling done, with which the doctor did a great job.
The administrator also informed me before my appointment that they have had issues with my insurance carrier and to expect a problem, not exactly a great way to present unpleasant information. Overall, a disappointing experience and I will not be going back.

This was my first visit to Aspen. Everyone was very kind and held up great communication. The vet assistant "Q" was in particular very delightful and diligent making sure I was up to date with what was going on.
Now the reason I only gave 3 stars is due to the wait and time management. As first impressions go, I was only getting a first visit consultation. Which consisted of x-ray's, the dentist going over the x-rays, and the hygienist logging the periodontal pockets. Then I check out, and they schedule an appointment with recommendations given by the dentist. Sounds great and to the point, should have been in and out. I was in the office for 2 & 1/2 hours... I don't know if it's because of staffing or training or if first time patients are low priority. But it was a very long wait, in each point of the journey. Waiting to get admitted. Then waiting on the dentist. Then waiting on the hygienist. Then waiting to check out. For having no dental cleaning, just a dental consultation, it was way to long.

I hadn't went to the dentist in a while. The staff was very professional. They took the time to explain my dental needs, and didn't make me feel any worse than I did, for not going to the dentist in a really long time. Adam the office manager is really resourceful. He was able to get me approved for dental financing. Due to a cancelation I was able to get my extensive treatment plan started right away. I really appreciate Dr. A and the Aspen team!!

The doctors definitely knew what they were doing, however, two things really caught my attention and one thing let me know how money hungry they were.

First, the doctor was so aggressive with the floss, didn’t care that I was clearly in pain, and kept being unapologetically aggressive. It’s now 3 days later and parts of my gums are still very sensitive to me brushing.

Second, during my appointment they were recommending a specific cleaning and told me it would come with an electric toothbrush which they recommended that I get. After my appointment when I sat down with one of the ladies, she gave me a financial breakdown of my care plan which included the cleaning and the wisdom teeth extraction. They then told me my insurance wouldn’t cover $254 of the cleaning. I clearly hesitated to pay it and sat there for about 30 seconds thinking about if I wanted to do that at that time, but decided to schedule the cleaning and pay the $254. The lady put two packets of papers in front of me and highlighted some numbers, but what I looking at was confusing. She gave me a 5 second breakdown of what I was looking at and just told me to sign a paper. I had to ask her 2 more times to explain what exactly I was signing for since she was being very short. Then I learned after the fact while I was looking closely at the paperwork that they charge me me $135 (as part of the $254 that “my insurance didn’t cover”) for an electric toothbrush that I was told would “come with the cleaning”. So as I reflect, it would have been nice if the lady that saw me hesitate about paying $254 out of pocket suggested that I get a cheaper electric toothbrush to save my pockets a little bit. I’m 21 years old in a college town, they probably could’ve assumed that I’m not swimming in cash, but instead of looking out for my best interest and suggesting a cheaper option that would achieve the same outcome, they encouraged a payment plan. When I came in for the cleaning I asked them to refund me the $135 for the toothbrush and they offered to give me a credit on my account with them. So I asked them to refund my credit card instead, and they did, although they seemed to not want to. So, while the people there were friendly, I don’t trust them to work in my best interest and I won’t be back.
