Everyone was so nice, polite and patient. Everything was explained clearly and they didn't push me into making as specific decision. They are also great about dealing with the financial part. They know that times are hard and they give you multiple options on payment. I am very happy to be an Aspen Dental patient!

I booked my 1st visit couple of months ago and I confirmed my appointment the day before my appointment via the text message I received. Only to find out that I loose my spot and had to wait for another 2 months just for the 1st visit. I confirmed my appointment and I never called to cancel it so I dont understand why do they had to give it away to another person and I had to loose my spot. This time around, I confirmed my appointment via emailand even called the office to make sure that they are not cancelling my spot, then the next day I received a call asking me to confirm my appointment again? Seriously? I dont know what is wrong with these people.

The staff and the dental assistant were nice . Technically, the first visit was just assessment to include xrays, dental plan and quotations. I was expecting to have my dental cleaning atleast in my first visit because I was already there. I feel like I wasted my time. I had to take a day off from work just for that.

The restroom was dirty during my visit, and it was just the 1st hour of the clinic's opening. Just so you know.

And I agree with the other comments about the pricing and how the dentist is not giving you another option but the most expensive one.

I did not receive a confirmation call for the appointment. I arrived 30 minutes early to my new patient appointment in order to fill out the new patient paperwork. I was told that my appointment was moved to the side because “they were unable to reach me to confirm the appointment”. Fortunately they were still able to fit me in, but I was rushed back to complete X-rays and felt rushed throughout the entire appointment. In addition, I was then rushed to complete the paperwork while I was in sitting in the exam chair.

Also, be aware that they do not schedule the cleaning and exam for the same day. Instead, they schedule the exam to determine your “treatment plan” and then schedule your cleaning for a different date. The earliest cleaning appointment they had was three weeks away.

Since I did not receive a confirmation call for this appointment, I now feel as though I have to remember to call the day before to confirm the cleaning in order to assure my appointment does not get overlooked. Overall, the staff and dentist were very nice, but the administrative components and the fact that you have to schedule a separate appointment for the cleaning are not ideal.

When my filling fell out for the second time in less than 6 months, I called to find out how long they guarantee their work for. I called multiple times and no answer. I left messages each time, explaining my issue and asking them to call me back to set up an appointment. The last time I called, I practically begged them to call me back. Still no call back. I am so disappointed. Now I have to find a new dentist AND pay again for a filling. Horrible customer service!!

My experience here was fantastic! The technician that handled me for the first 80% of my visit was friendly, attractive, interesting, and kept complimenting my eyes. Made me feel more like a person than an old man - it was very delightful!

Now the things that weren't so good:

1. I really wanted a filling to protect an important tooth and the doctor kept saying that it needs a crown. He finally agreed that he would do the filling if i wanted and I asked for a price both ways. At checkout I was not given the price and they said they would call - no call yet.

2. The prices I was given for what they said would take 21!!! visits was almost $9000 with dental insurance!! There is no way this is going to happen on my disability income and seems excessive.

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Been to many aspen dentals, first experience with a professional robotic dehumanizing woman checking me in, to tell me my appointment was cancelled with no recourse, no remorse, no cares in the world, after driving an hour and a half for a painful emergency. Avoid this place like Covid unless you enjoy wasting time.

My first appointment with Aspen Dental was great. They scheduled me immediately for an emergency and the staff was very friendly. It was when it came close to my second appointment that problems arose.

I had enrolled in a dental policy after my first appointment. When I enrolled I called the Gainesville office to make sure that they took this policy. They assured me that they did and went ahead and scheduled my second appointment.

The day before my appointment they called to get my insurance information. When I told them the HMO I was on they informed me that I would have to pay out of pocket because they were at capacity for HMOs. When I called they specifically told me that they would be able to see me with this plan. It was not okay to be misled.

I had to get a cavity filled, and Dr. Lemus was the one who did my filling. She was so polite, so personable, and so gentle. I have never had such a positive and pain free experience while getting a cavity filled, I would highly, highly recommend her. Denise is also awesome with paperwork, follow-ups, and she is so patient. I had a problem with my insurance and Denise worked tirelessly to get it solved while being extremely polite and helpful the entire time. The people here are exceptional and make you feel very comfortable.

Truth Hurts

CLOWNS at scheduling games. You can’t even see the dentist after making an appointment at one branch. Because once you arrive (a month later) they say your appt. ”is for the other branch”. When you get to that new branch they switched you to without asking, they tell you “we don’t take this insurance at this branch.”
GO LOCAL. Local established dentists do not have the franchise fees and overhead new mortgage costs. Go to them instead.

Seriously, the beat dentists office I have ever been to. Communication is top notch. Staff, at front desk to hygienist, to comptroller ( financing and money person) and MinSong which is the dentist I had was awesome, they make me want to come back. And I will time and time again. Great experience all the way around, don’t hesitate just get your teeth fixed. You want regret it.
