As always, I had a wonderful experience today at Gainesville Family Dentistry! I always go in thinking there’s no way they can give me unpleasant news and make me not upset about it; but yet again, I leave with unpleasant news and a smile on my face. Holly is amazing and Dr. H is simply a delight. I can not recommend this practice enough!

Chance did my cleaning. He is very diligent and I always leave pain free. I wouldn't have anyone else do my cleaning. He is very personable and makes it enjoyable coming to get a procedure that isn't supposed to be enjoyable.

I have always been more than satisfied with the services received at Gainesville Family Dentistry. What concerned me on this visit had to do with COVID precautions. While waiting in the car I noticed a patient being escorted in to use the restroom and her mask clearly was below her nose and noticeably loose around her mouth. We were given COVID forms to complete on clipboards that may or may not have been cleaned properly between uses. Same goes for the pen we used to complete the form. Good thing I wore gloves. Not every patient does.

Honestly the best dental team i have seen in awhile. With having had a few bad dental experiences I never wanted to be in a dental office again. Then i met the amazing team , Dr. Billingsley, Dr. Blanco, Jordann, Angie, Holly, Garilee, Chance, Mignon, Susan, Kayla, Lisa, Tori, and Sam and they have really helped to shape the dental image in my mind from horrific to something beautiful. I recommend them to everyone I meet, I have my family attending the office, and do not my child to see anyone else. They are super personable the office environment is always cheerful. They tackle any difficult situation and make sure to keep their patients as relaxed as possible, and make sure they have a good time and leave with a smile.

I typically write lengthy and informative reviews based on my encounter with those places, businesses, etc.,whom I think deserve great reviews or as in this case, not so great reviews.
My husband and I had until recently, been patients of Gainesville Family Dentistry for the past couple of years between us and insurance, spending quite a sum of money. If you look at their website it is filled with feel good marketing material which is all false. Come be a part of our family.....um no thanks.
Getting to my last encounter, the front desk staff was so confused and disorganized printing my treatment plan 3 different times, not being forthright with what my insurance would cover and my responsibility and violating HIPAA calling me by my last name, verifying my date of birth, my address, my social and openly discussing my financial matters in the front reception area with six other patients sitting in the waiting room!! I was aghast at such rude and unprofessional service!!
The list goes on!! I saw the hygienist the week before who was obviously on a bonus program with her marketing of the Invisalign. I informed her I am 63 and more than likely would not be interested in orthodontics at this stage if my life. Nonetheless, I still had to sit through the marketing video of this gimmic before she would resume work on my cleaning. She also noted I needed a crown on one tooth. The doctor comes in and had to ask the hygienist the indication for my crown? Since when does the doctor not make the determination of what is needed in your treatment plan?? But rest assured, I get to the checkout and before I could get out the door I had to sign off on a treatment plan of $4k for Invisalign and $1700 for a crown!! So I opted to have the crown done at this second visit and the price was cut in half and the explanation of insurances allowance was so weak that I felt like I was buying a used car brimming with all the usual bait and switch tactics!!
It was an ugly experience for me and I will never recommend this practice to anyone!

I love Gainesville Family Dentistry.
Everyone is always so friendly and there is very little wait time.
I always see Chance for my cleanings and he is so warm and friendly.
Dr. Hamrick is the best. She always talks to me and she is interested in my life. She is gentle in her work and when I had prep work for a crown, she made sure I was comfortable.
My daughter and grandkids come to this practice and due to the gentle manner the kids love going to see Chamce to get their teeth cleaned.
I recommend this practice to anyone that is looking for a dentist.

The staff are always efficient and helpful. Angela is the best hygienist I have ever had! The dentist is always helpful and great when he does procedures keeping the pain away.
