Doctor Phillips Modern Dentistry

My husband had a crown done at this dentist in October 2021. They held information from the insurance that delayed the claim for 11 months which caused them to hold on to $349.00 that they overcharged us. Seems that is their business model to overcharge and hold patients money. Could not even get the receptionist to be quiet long enough to take my number for a call back to resolve this issue. I did have to call 3 times because the obnoxious woman that is the receptionist continually hung up on me. The insurance claim was processed 9/8/22 and they are still holding our money that they are not entitled to have. They advised me that they will take 72 hours to contact me back. Isn't a year of holding money that doesn't belong to you enough????

When i called them back they claimed not to have an explanation of benefits. Cigna sent it to them in September around the 8th and they can look it up on line. Seems they are trying to hold the $349.00 that they are not owed. Annie is the office manager and she advised that she did not have it. I had sent it and CIgna advised they can go online and look at it. Annie hung up on my when I advised that I was filing a complaint because that made her uncomfortable. I would be uncomfortable too if I was intentionally holding a customer's money. They do agree that they owe a partial refund but they are claiming they need to verify the address before sending the refund. (why would you need to verify an address anyway. mail gets forwarded for a year.
send it out and see if it comes back. Seems like another way to hold money that does not belong to you). Refusing to refund it to the credit card they were paid with over a year ago. so they are trying to hold a $77 refund when they owe us $349.00. Fortunately the insurance will also take a complaint against Dr PHillips Modern Denistry and it has been filed with Cigna. Doctors office is saying the 272 is for an upgrade but refuses to provide the breakdown for the upgrade. This is an official request to provide the upgrade with the $77 refund that you have been holding since the insurance processed on 9/8/2. they also refused to put the refund back on the credit card because it was a partial credit (seems real fishy to me...) I would run the other way and find a better dentist.

I have been coming here for years and every time I come it’s always a great experience! The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming and make checking in and out a seamless process. The dental hygienists are always professional and do a great job in cleaning your teeth. And Dr. Song is a top notch dentist! You can tell he cares and his patients and their dental hygiene. He’s done great work on my teeth and has been incredibly helpful in helping me to improve my dental hygiene. I refer all my friends here because of great they are! Definitely the best in the area!

From start to finish, my experience was extremely pleasant. From the time I walked in, to the time I left the service I received was not only comforting, but reassuring in the fact that great customer service still exists. Sure, the dental cleaning process is not always easy to get through, but the high-level of care and respect that I receive, definitely overshadowed it all.

Dr. Song is a genuine and very adept dentist. Lexi and Charisma have very welcoming personalities and are very helpful and pleasant. I’ve been going here for about a year and I trust this place because of the level of service they provide. It’s consistently a step above the competition. I always feel good walking out of this place of business and come back because they’re upfront and honest.

Clean & friendly environment. Attention to detail. Patient dentist and helpful staff, especially the assistant Sheila.

The office team are so friendly, you're treated like family. The doctor team (Dr Song, and the visiting Dr Nueman and the Oral Surgeon) have all been fantastic. They really want to make sure you're comfortable and the whole experience is as easy as dental work can be.

And i want to specially mention how clean and covid safe they are. Its a big relief to me that I can feel safe being there.

I’ve been coming here for about a year now. Dentists these days feel like mini sales departments, and while I’m still feeling out this location in regards to that, their staff have always been really nice. Adriana specifically giving a really personalized and tailored review and recommendations for help. I appreciated her attention to detail and kindness. It’s really easy to give out generic general advice but she was really working with me. Thanks again.

I used to hate going to the dentist and was skeptical from previous experiences where dentists would try to overcharge for procedures that were unnecessary. This place is totally different. The medical staff here is always welcoming and professional. They keep the office very clean and foster an environment that’s contemporary and relaxed. The most impressive part is how the staff and doctors always take the time to communicate and explain everything so that you understand what’s going on. I’m definitely happy that I stepped outside my comfort zone and found a dentist office that made me feel comfortable and provides great service as well.

He has done wonderful work replacing old crowns, doing a bridge, etc.
The dental hygienists Liu is always professional and do a great job in cleaning your teeth.

I love the office I went about a week ago & Sheila made me feel very comfortable and the doctor doomra was amazing
