I went in for a teeth cleaning on Jan 13 2023. I must say from the front desk staff to the back was great. Victoria was very nice. Her energy spirit and the way she cleaned my teeth made me feel comfortable. I can definitely tell she came from a great background. Please keep her around . She is an amazing individual.

From the time I walked in to Grateful Dental I could tell that it was the Nicest, kindest most professional Dental Office I would ever encounterd.The Staff at Reception Desk we're very Kind and Courteous. Then I was really impressed by the Dentist who went the extra mile and reassured me that the procedure would go well and be less painful because I had a fear of the Dentist. To my amazement it was above and beyond expectations. This was my second time other wise It would have been crying time. It was little to no pain and I was a chicken. I am no longer afraid and will visit the Dentist on a regular basis. That was why I stayed away so long because of pain and the fear of cruel cold Dentist and Staff. I have bad dental anxiety. Last time I went to the dentist was over 15 years ago. I found a general dentistry who referred me to a root canal practice. I will not name this location, but it was a terrible, traumatic experience. It reassured me that my fear in dentists was accurate. However, I still needed to get a crown.
I searched around for places that offered options for patients with dental anxiety, and came across Grateful Dental. I grew up on 60’s and 70’s music so I already liked the name. I set up an appointment with Maggie at the front desk. She was very informative and professional, but still casual enough to make me feel comfortable. I cannot remember my other two ladies names, there was a blonde dental technician/ceramist who shaped my crown, she was extremely friendly and comforting. Then there was the doctor, and after looking at their website, her name is Dr. Leia Porcaro. I have very sensitive gums, and the shots I received from the root canal place hurt for 5 days after. Dr. Porcaro is so good at what she does, I literally had no idea she had given me my shots! She gave me a cheek/gum massage, chit chatted for a few minutes, then all of a sudden my face went numb.
The anxiety pill they prescribed me kicked in, and I was extremely relaxed. They got to work, zero pain whatsoever. Zero discomfort. Less than an hour later, they’re done.
I have a deep-seated dislike for dentists that stems from when I was a kid, which has caused me to need two root canals and a few fillings. I am actually happy to come back to this practice. They were professional, comforting people, and they made me feel safe and cared. If you have dental anxiety of any kind, please give this place a chance! I’m so excited to get my teeth back in good shape! Thank you :)

I broke my front tooth on Friday afternoon. Saturday morning I called Grateful Dental and I had an appointment at noon the same day! The staff were all very friendly, and assured me that they would take care of me. I was presented with several options, and care plans, and together we came up with the best course of action. The doctor and Carissa (her assistant) were both wonderful and empathetic, and created a very stress free and relaxing environment. I would whole heartedly recommend this practice and this team of professional caregivers for your routine dentistry needs or in a dental emergency.

They are very friendly and chill here. The dentist and hygienists and everyone else are all unique and easy to talk to. Everyone is just chill and not like a stuffy dental office. They are honest and clear with pricing and straight forward with what work should be done immediately and what can wait until next year when benefits renew. I really like this location and I like Dr. Porcaro
