I went to Aspen Dental yesterday to have a bad tooth extracted. I was in severe pain and the broken tooth has been cutting my cheek. When I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist who was friendly and welcoming. It helped ease my anxiety and my fear of going to the dentist. Within 10 mins of my appointment I was brought back to have the X-rays done. The assistant was also great. I explained I had medical conditions and anxiety and she seemed to understand. That's where it ended Though. Once the dentist came in the experience was terrifying, unprofessional and very painful. The dentist was rude and mean; called me "lazy" for my poor dental status (although a lot of my medications I am on or had been on affected this). He was very rough and I left with extreme pain and swelling. No offer of antibiotics or even pain meds given the type of tooth removed. He ran out of the room as soon as he was done leaving his assistant to finish talking to me. I have been to several dentists and have had several teeth extracted (again due to medical conditions and medication) and I have never felt so humiliated and talked down to, not to mention manhandled and violated. I now know for next time to not go back.

Very friendly atmosphere, nice staff. The problem was that I was there for 2.5 hours for them to tell me that I will only need to have a cleaning done for the low price of $800 something. But hey they can give me a couple coupons and now my price will only be $600 something. No thanks!!!

I had a very positive experience at Aspen Dental. First time there and was treated great. I had about 7 ex-rays and a consultation with the dentist and a prescription. All for 19 dollars! Amazing.

You have great staff the dentist is awesome every time I've been there I've been treated with dignity and respect. I really appreciate what they do I think they are top notch and they are an asset to the Galesburg community.

My partial broke on Christmas. My dentist office was closed until January 2. Contacted Aspen Dental and they got me in right away and fixed my partial the same day. Great experience.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. I don’t have insurance and they only charge you 19 for a cleaning and x-rays. The staff also showed concern for my health. They are slow, that’s the only downside.

My bridge installation was amazing. It went very quickly because the bridge fit perfectly and it also looks great! Dr. Gifford is an excellent dentist that I recommend.
