Professional staff and quick, efficient service! The facilities looked very new and my dental hygienist, Susan, was very friendly. I was a new patient and she made the process very easy.

This dentistry has fantastic and knowledgeable staff. The hygienists are professional and friendly, especially Susan. Dr. Lawson is friendly and skilled. I actually feel happy thinking about upcoming appointments knowing that I'll be seeing a bunch of smiling, friendly faces! During the pandemic they have been prioritizing your safety by doing temperature checks and asking a brief series of medical history questions. Remember that they are doing their best to keep you safe! Keep up the amazing work and thank you for making the dentist feel like a fun place to go.

I had a great experience here. I had an urgent dental need. It was not such an emergency to go to an ER or tap the emergency dental line (PearlFection has emergency dentist on call I think), but I wanted to see a dentist as soon as possible. Upon hearing my situation, they were able to squeeze me into their appointment book same day at the last minute despite the busy schedule. Thanks to a last minute cancellation of another patient, I was able to see Dr. Stringer and her assistant Susan at a much earlier time than anticipated. I am very grateful that they were able to accommodate me at such a short notice while maintaining a superb standard of service. I'd like to thank both Dr.String and Susan for impeccable service as well as Kristin who helped me squeeze through the appointment books as well.

Dr. Stringer was so kind and patient with me. I have a lot of anxiety over visiting the dentist but she made me feel great about my teeth. She explained everything in great detail and me feel like the next steps with my teeth were my decision, where other dentists in the past made me feel pressured. Her assistant Susan was amazing. She was so kind and sweet. Her demeanor really helped me feel comfortable and I actually am looking forward to my next appointment.

I have dental insurance with 100 percent coverage. When I called to schedule an appointment, I mentioned this to the office staff. After my initial appointment, they claimed they looked up my insurance, and I have a copay based on the proposed treatments during the first appointment. I mentioned to the lady again that I am not required to pay any copay. I never had to pay a copay for medical, dental, or prescriptions regardless of where I went for treatment. So, they surprised me when they mentioned I have a copay of 289 for deep cleaning. I even gave the lady a dedicated phone number I got from my insurance company for them to call for confirmation, and instead, they stated they would submit a predetermination that’s supposed to take 4 to 6 weeks.

On the day of my first recommended treatment, they asked for the copay before I was treated. Again, I mentioned to the person who asked for the payment that I have 100 percent coverage. She repeated the predetermination submission language, and if it proves I am 100 percent covered, they will refund me.

After my appointment, I called my medical affairs office to confirm that I have 100 percent coverage with no copays. Next, I called the dental insurance office, and the lady told me they had received no claim from my May 6, 2022, and June 3, 2022 appointments. So I called the office again, and the person on the phone mentioned to me they submitted the claims and the insurance would receive them shortly. I work in healthcare and am familiar with billing and insurance submissions.

On June 6, 2022, I called the insurance company, and they said they had received no claim from PearlFection. They asked that I do a three-way call so that they could speak with the PearlFection office staff. The insurance representative reiterated I have 100 percent coverage during the call. They transferred me to Stacy, and she looked at my information again, and this time, she magically saw that they covered me 100 percent. As of the time of the three-way call, they still had not submitted the claims.

How did they know what I was responsible for and what my insurance company would pay if they did not submit a claim? This smells like a scam, and I have reported the dental office to our medical affairs branch. Hopefully, they will investigate this business.

Last, the deep cleaning they claim will take an hour and a half took only 30 minutes, and it was not different from the regular teeth cleaning I have received from other dental offices. So my conclusion is that most of the reviews are fake. There was a story on NPR recently regarding fake reviews bought by healthcare offices across the country. I think PearlFection might be one of them.

TLDR: Mostly fake reviews. Bad billing practices, stay away.

EDIT: Response to Stew. I am active-duty, and I have NEVER had to pay for any dental, medical, or prescription service in the past. In addition, active-duty members have one of the best insurance. Furthermore, prior to signing up as a patient, I was told by the staff that your practice accepts my insurance. You are trying to put a spin on insurance after I have caught your office trying to scam someone in uniform. Did you read above that I am a healthcare professional and familiar with billing and insurance?

How do you charge $289 when you did not submit a claim to the insurance? How did your office come up with that number? Please answer the simple questions above instead of trying to spin it. Your office made up the copay, simple. Your staff kept telling me I would receive a refund once they submitted the claim, proving that I have 100 percent coverage. The worst dental office I have ever been to. I am so glad I caught on to the scam on time.

Coming into the Pearlfection Dentistry, I was very impressed by the atmosphere and ambience in the office made even better by Ms. Susan’s warm welcome. She was super engaging as she went about taking X-rays and getting me ready for Dr. Stringer while genuinely taking an interest in me. Really appreciated the entire staff, especially the aforementioned.

I was immediately greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. I had to fill out the paperwork and I was seen as soon as the paperwork was complete. The office has a very calm and soothing atmosphere. The decor is absolutely beautiful. Danielle was my hygienist and she was absolutely fantastic!! She had a great bedside manner that makes you feel so comfortable. She was very gentle and was always checking in to make sure I was comfortable. I saw the dentist and she was very polite and professional. They are now my primary dentist and I will be referring my husband and all of my friends. I definitely recommend!!
