Artistic Family Dentistry of Silver Spring

I have been going here for 3 years now and am a continuing patient. The people at the desk are always helpful and friendly, the room for cleaning really makes me feel like I'm at a spa, I even get an eye mask and a nice blanket. It is a really relaxing place. Tony, the hygienist there, is absolutely fantastic and makes sure my mouth is always astoundingly clean when I leave and is always great.

Place felt like a spa, but it was a dentist. So the place they take care of you, they have good technology, and great dentists there. I mean it was my first visit, but they made me feel like it won't be my last. They did good

Today was my first visit to the Artistic Family Dentistry and it was the best experience I've EVER had at the dentist. From the staff at the front desk, to Dr. Tony and eventually Dr. Bikoi - best customer service. I really appreciated the fine touches that aim to create a calming/relaxing spa-like experience. Excited to start my treatments with them

My review comes a bit late but this was easily the best dentist I've ever been to. Dr. Bikoi and the hygienist who took care of me were super friendly and professional. The place is truly like a spa. I ended up having to get quite a bit more work done than I'd been expecting (the price of avoiding the dentist for years) but they made it a pleasant experience. The teeth cleaning room is the best part. I've unfortunately moved away but would absolutely return. Perhaps I'll be back when I come home to visit. Don't hesitate- go here for your next cleaning.

Relaxing ambience, kind and friendly staff. Dr. Bikoi was very friendly and explained various things about my teeth to me in terms I could understand. Tony did a thorough job with my routine cleaning. Overall, it was a great and relaxing experience. I'll definitely be back in the near future.

I found Dr. Bikoi and her lovely practice by chance as I walked by the office and decided to make an appointment. New to the area, and in need of a dentist I thought I'd try this place out.

Now before I continue, it's pertinent to share that I myself am a dentist. I don't share this information with the office beforehand for I want to have a feel what the treatment planning philosophy of an office is prior to accepting treatment. Sadly, I've had prior experiences at other places where treatment was recommended that was not indicated. Thankfully, I have the training to know, but can only imagine how others may be misled.

Regardless, Dr. Bikoi exuded professionalism, class, and courtesy. Her treatment recommendations were accurate, appropriate and fair. Her office is lovely, her staff accommodating and polite. The entire experience was superlative. Tony, the hygienest, was professional, kind, and provided excellent therapy. Overall, this office is incredible and I'd highly recommend it to any and everyone in the area. The amenities are world class, the staff professional, personable and fair. They offer and provide necessary treatment and you don't have to fear being upsold unnecessary, expensive treatment. A+ all around

I actually enjoyed my visits to Artistic Family Dentistry, I had four extractions of my wisdom tooth and the entire experience was painless to my amazement. The environment in the office has the feel of an upscale spa playing soft instrumental music and the television was showing some of the most scenic places on earth. The chairs she have you sitting on come alive and preforms a message, relaxing and placing you in a state of tranquility. I wish her the best and with lots of success.

I experience a lot of anxiety at the dentist and I’ve been to several trying to find the right fit for me. Artistic family dentistry has been amazing. They walked me through every step and ensured I understood - they complete their work with genuine care, kindness, and a really upbeat positive attitude. I want to especially thank Tony who made me feel welcome and as relaxed as possible in an environment that usually brings me a lot of anxiety. I am so glad I found this dentist and I’m so glad to say I’ll be coming back!

A new kind of thief………you will lose something. Just keep away.
A transaction is one exchange for another service or product. That should work. Beware. More and more “businesses” care nothing about client. Exemplified, embodied here. Wrong reasons to say you “help” people. Here you have to pay even if they do not fit! They did not fit after two months and telling me the finished product which I told them does not fit will. It does not fit! So you have to pay. If you wear improper dentures it can cause grave illness and underlying causes that can take your life. This is not to be toyed with for greed. This was the worst dental experience of my life. There are so many things that are wrong. I paid. That they took. Then another 2 months (not the normal same day-2 weeks), still don’t fit but a promise they will. Bizarre, yeah? I paid and said need at latest 2 weeks. We began this June 6th. Absolutely not one of my questions answered in the initial call came to fruition. Back and forth. I could not even think of the cosmetic because I could not talk much less put food in and chew. Aside from all the “dental anguish” and inability for them to communicate to me they could not do dentures. I gave them plenty of time. Each week. As of last week the doctor said give her a full refund but when I asked for my money back all of a sudden that can’t be done. It was a very fluid con. They have no caller ID. They’ve no way to identify themselves, only random odd numbers. Their voicemail is always full. I’m sure some of these shady things have been changed since they are aware of a legal Hawkeye now. They were in compassionate and rude. Absolute dismissal of me as a client. Dragged me through hell and charged me for it. My dentures weren’t but are now cutting into my gums because they could not make teeth. I have very sensitive family health problems and was very specific in my needs. I would not have gone had they just told me they could not. I told them with each fitting they did not work! They push and force you. So a coupleof major points. Not making dentures that fit. Not disclosing truth to client. Making client creepy uncomfortable and not complying from their end. I came to each appointment expecting something. Each nothing on plate had changed. Then they tell you on phone they will fit??? Really? Since they refused to refund to force a person to take teeth that don’t fit. I don’t won’t anyone to respond to that and say they’ll fit. That’s just silly. I said so many times not functional and so far off no chance of getting close. The other is all the shadiness as time goes by. You don’t start picking it up until you see something not quite right. This will be 3rd pair so I do know a bit. A dozen calls to other dentists and denture specialist and attorney warmed off from the ethics of this place. I have the same concerns. I knew it was time to stat get new ones. I had been caregiving and no time. I would not recommend not because they can’t do dentures sometimes. You just do want to take a risk with your health, time, and money. I can’t imagine these people could do to someone who does not have to resources. They have never been sure about my teeth but absolutely keen on my money. The excuses, a mixture or greed and adolescence. I’m in pain, I can’t eat, and now will go to a regular place that will do that day.
Again, dentures take days not months and you are extorting money by this point! Nothing else. They did not fit! How can you say they will 2 1/2 months later. I really can’t fathom this! Where did the professional people go. Not one there with integrity and pride in their work and career??? So very odd.

I’ve had wonderful experience here! Dr.Bikoi is very energetic, attentive and skillful, she managed to complete 3 wisdom teeth extraction and root canal surgery at one day and keep the hassle to the minimum. She was so careful and thoughtful that I didn’t really feel too much pain! Also the music and aromatherapy makes me feel so relaxed at the same time. I also enjoyed working with Marleny and Tony, they are very capable and friendly. I feel home here and to me this is the best dentist place in the DMV area. Highly recommend!
