Did you know that dental fear, dental anxiety and dental phobia are quite often used inter-changeably? Mine was extreme. My anxiety had become so severe that it preventing me from contacting my dentist even when I was in considerable pain after I had cracked a tooth. In a desperate attempt, I typed in “sedation dentistry” in my computer and discovered North Mankato Family Dentistry. Drs. Angela Schuck, Keith Flack and the entire staff understood my fears and patiently worked with me giving me the reassurance I needed to walk through their door. I had my teeth cleaned, two fillings replaced and a same-day crown. I do not remember any of my time spent in the dentist chair and that is exactly how I wanted it. For the first time in my life, I’m not scared to go back. I only wish I would have known about them sooner. I’m sharing my story so that perhaps if you are someone like me, I have found my solution (sedation dentistry) and now you can too.

Drs. Schuck and Flack do a wonderful job. All of the staff is helpful and compassionate. My youngest daughter has needed multiple extractions and they have done a great job. Highly recommend! Just wish they were in network with my insurance.

If you fear the dentist, fear no more and go see Dr. Flack and the rest of the team at North Mankato. Family Dentistry. They have many options for you and I chose to use the sedation option and had a lot of work done in one visit!!!! To say it was the best experience at the dentist but cannot remember any of it is the truth!!!! But did get a good nap out of it!!! The people their are wonderful, cheerful, make one comfortable, and do awesome work!! Dr. Flack and MJ a special thanks to both of you for making my experience coming back to the dentist an easier experience for me now and in the future.

Was in extreme pain, got me in the following business day. Doc was so kind! Used lots of techniques to manage pain and get to the issue quickly. A buffer with the shot of Novocaine was the best! The staff is friendly and accommodating and my path for permanent care has been made!
