I have had numerous treatments completed on my front teeth in the past but nothing has ever compared to what Dr. Flack did for my smile. Not only did he painlessly complete 2 root canals, he did major reconstruction on my front 6 teeth. During the reconstruction process, I was able to wear special temporaries so I had the option to make changes in color, shape, size, etc. I now have the smile I have always wanted.

Always fearful of dentists, one of the luckiest days of my life was when I went to Drs. Schuck and Flack and their amazing staff for my much-needed dental work many years ago. Still to this day, I am grateful for their care and consideration. My hygenist, Laura, could not be nicer and more understanding. Her expertise is so appreciated. If you or anyone you know has a phobia towards dentists, urge them to see Drs. Schuck and Flack asap!

Update to above review: Several years later I continue to be a huge fan of everyone at North Mankato Family Dentistry. I have faithfully kept all my cleaning and maintenance appointments. Never have I left with the slightest amount of disappointment; instead so happy and thankful for each experience. My latest visit involved replacing an old crown with a new one. I am thrilled to say that I bravely undertook this procedure with no sedation. Because I completely trust Dr. Flack's steady hand and awesome ability to, in my opinion, perform miracles, everything went great. As usual I left with a smile (maybe a little crooked due to the novacaine) on my face due to the deep and unwavering gratitude to Dr. Flack and his amazing staff.

I have been a committed patient of Dr. Flack and Dr. Schuck for ten years since I was a student majoring in pre-medicine at MSU, Mankato. Back then, to be honest, I did not know about this dentistry at all. When I had a tooth problem, I just grabbed a yellow page and randomly started to call up a couple dozens of the dental offices in Mankato. The only dentistry staffs who were very friendly and motivated to achieve the best results for me over the phone were the North Mankato Family Dentistry team. “Your first instinct is always right!!” Ever since then, no matter where I moved within MN and from MN to Iowa, I always drive back to this dentistry. As I now also work in healthcare, I do highly value their services even more than ever before. I can clearly attest I have my 100% trust and faith in them. And they have never ever failed to meet and go beyond my expectation for their excellent patient care service!! Over the last ten years, my dental hygienist has changed from Stephanie to Linda. Yet their dedicated patient care and expertise has been just keeping improving!! I thank Dr. Flack and Dr. Schuck and all the staff members for providing me with the exceptional care, always!!

Kristi at front desk was amazing when working with me getting appointments made that fit my work schedule. Very creative and patient. Kristi also was very clear about insurance which was very helpful. Rest of staff is very kind and friendly! Absolutely recommend this place.

Pain isn't something you associate with being brave.
What if you didn't remember the pain,
And you didn't have to go completely out?

Research how Dr. Flack handles each case.
I've been through many different kinds of pain killers.
I don't want to take pills that make me want more.
I want just enough so I don't remember the pain.

I just completed my second sedation treatment.
The time when I was sedated just disappeared.
They told me I talked to them while I was sedated,
And that I was the perfect patient.

I'm finishing some parts of a book of verse, while I recover.
I was writing about "being brave".
And I knew I had to write about my "pain free" experience.
Now I know what being brave is.

That is it!
This is what it is like to be brave.
You can even be brave at the dentist.
We can all use that kind of bravery.

I use to have bad jaw pain and my front teeth on top/bottom scraped wearing the enamel off really bad.

I recently had a lot of dental work done. I was in the dentist chair for about 6 hours. I was very anxious about going to the dentist so i did the sedation dentistry. I can personally tell you that i dont remember anything from my appointment. I remember when i was starting to wake up i could hear them talking but other than that nothing. I dont remember them numbing me up, doing the fillings or pulling 2 teeth. I would highly recommend doing sedation dentistry for anyone that has a fear of the dentist or the fear of needles. It was the best dental experience ever

They’re solid they did a really good thorough job from my understanding and got me in right away when I said I had pain in my tooth so yeah definitely would recommend.
