Wow never thought I would like going to the dentist, everyone I mean everyone was absolutely amazing and treated me like I didn't walk in 25 min late. I had a tooth that needed to be pulled and they did everything they could to get it out, and wow didn't feel a thing, BEST DENTIST EVER! AND BEST ASSISTANTS EVER!

I went to my family dentist and with a chipped molar and he advised me that I had a severely cracked molar and it would have to be crowned. Tears filled my eyes. I told him he had to refer me elsewhere because I could not have another crown done without sedation. You see, I do not handle dental work very well—I feel stress, anxious, and no matter how much Novocain I received I do not get numb enough and I feel the dental procedure.

I was referred to, North Mankato Family Dentistry. I meet with Dr. Schuck and her staff. They explained the sedation dentistry process and together we determined the best dental plan for me. Dr. Schuck advised me that I would not recall the dental procedure, but I would respond to her during. That is exactly how things went. The staff was caring, understanding and I felt they truly wanted me to be as comfortable as possible.

My first experience with sedation dentistry was incredible and I was relaxed and at ease despite the fact that my dental plan involved two crowns and a tooth extraction.

They have met all my expectations for the care of my teeth. I also appreciate that they value my time. I went in at the scheduled time, he did the work that needed to be done and I was out in no time getting back to the things that I needed to do. North Mankato Family Dentistry will give you an amazing dental experience. I have always had huge anxiety about going to the dentist from being a child to an adult. I was told about sedation dentistry and didn't believe it would change my feelings about going and it totally made a world of difference! It's the ticket!!! The staff is very knowledgable and accommodating and therefore make the experience pleasant. Who would think going to the dentist can be pleasant? I didn't think I would ever, but now I do. For anybody with anxiety about the dentist or anyone just wanting a more pleasant experience, I highly recommend this office!

Had a fantastic experience at North Mankato Family Dentistry today! First time using gas and listening to Pandora during a procedure. It was like I was body surfing at a rock concert! Not a bad way to spend your birthday! All staff were reassuring and incredibly welcoming. Walked in anxious and scared and left with a smile on my face. I will be back!!!!

My family’s dental experiences here have had a positive result for our overall oral health. The office is very organized and I completely trust their handling of my accounts, billing for insurance, keeping me apprised of current amounts due, any adjustments that can be made to make the procedures as affordable as possible, elucidating a thorough write-up with various options for future treatment plans. The doctors are thorough and technologically savvy with educational training that is up-to-date, which is very important to me. Their efforts are strong in keeping patients healthy with preventative dentistry which in the long run is in the best interest of the patient. Their office can always find a way to squeeze me in if I am suffering from a dental emergency or pain. I am frustrated in reading negative reviews for this place of business because my family has been affiliated with their office since 2007 and we have had good experiences for 12 years. The negative reviews simply demonstrate that you “cannot please everyone” though I know from experience that they only want to do what is in the best interest of the patient . Go to a few other dentists first if you must but I am sure you will end up here afterwards. I am that confident in their abilities.

Drs./Staff at the NMFD, I want others to know how compassionate, competent and experienced you are in your practice. I've had several procedures with minimal discomfort and success. I recently had two implants placed with sedation which went better then an extraction. There was minimal discomfort at the site from the stitches in place. I was given a rinse which was effective.

Fear, anxiety, embarressment, and more fear have kept me from the dentist for about 10 years. I saved North Mankato Family Dentistry in my favorites for 2 years. I dialed the phone number so many times without hitting send.

I am so happy I called. Every single person in the building made me feel at ease. I know it is my own fault my teeth are in the condition they are in. Dr. Schuck was very nice and comforting. No judgement! They set out a game plan, which is extensive, and I am actually looking forward to the next steps.

Dr. Flack and his crew came in on a holiday to do my procedure. I got something to help me sleep the night before my procedure, and then I took a pill before I got to the office. Next thing I know, I am home and feeling better. Recovery was pretty uneventful. I even enjoyed the rest of the holiday weekend.

We've been going to North Mankato Family Denistry for more than 10 years and we've never been happier. Drs. Schuck and Flack are fantastic and really seem to care about their patients and their families. The front desk staff is always pleasant and helpful. I especially like Linda, the hygienist. She's amazing! Always so friendly and genuine.

I LOVE North Mankato Family Dentistry! Let me tell you why: My previous dental experiences - with other providers - were a "sit in a chair, scrape and dig, and see you in 6 months"-type experience. No one listened to you, no one took the time to understand what your dental anxieties may be ... it just seemed no one cared about you. Until I found North Mankato Family Dentistry! I had neglected my dental health for over 4 years because of my previous experiences/anxieties. I knew I was going to need at least a really good cleaning and some fillings. It took me 3 months to get the nerve to call to make the appointment! After that first phone call - when they told me that they could even do a cleaning under sedation - I knew I found the right place. At my first appointment they toured me through their facility, explained all their services, and introduced me to the staff. Dr. Flack came in, introduced himself, sat down next to me and just talked! I could have cried with relief! Finally, someone that would listen to me! I was able to tell him (and his assistant) what I felt I could handle and what I couldn't and they were very sensitive to my anxiety ... they did nothing that I felt would freak me out. Then, I scheduled my first sedation appointment. It was AWESOME! The night-before pill kept me calm and relaxed; I had an excellent night sleep -- I didn't lay awake in bed all night worrying about the appointment. The next morning, 1/2 hour before my appointment, I took those 2 little magical blue pills. Wow! I have very few blips of things I remember from the appointment, but there was no pain, no anxiety, no stress. It was literally, take a nap, get your teeth cleaned/restored, and wake up! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this if you have dental anxiety! And even if you don't, Drs. Flack & Schuck and their entire staff are TOP NOTCH!
