upon receiving our diagnoses for the need for dental services, aspen dental wanted for us to perform all necessary treatments immediately which was a good approach however, it was too costly. Without financial backing nor having the affordable payment plan was unable to receive care. Aspen didn't even help with doing little by little to help reduce cost. bottom line aspen dental is too expensive and does not care about their patients financial situations to help pay for their services.I wouldn't suggest nor recommend aspen dental!

I just moved to Nebraska and had a severe gum infection due to a push pocket. I have terrible teeth and knew it was going to cost a lot of money going forward. They took x-rays and showed I needed a lot of work on them. They were very accommodating giving me the option to fix all my teeth or have them pulled and a new plate so I opted for a new. I chose a new plate. They were very friendly and pleasant to work with. I would recommend Aspen Dental for your tooth needs.

The staff here were very friendly and helpful, got me in and got me out. They were willing to work with my scheduling since I live out of town. I have a few more appointments left, but so far very satisfied. Thanks for helping me get my smile back!!

Easy to get in and initial visit and xrays were no charge. Have to have antibiotics before any cleaning or other services can be done due to a surgery done last year. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I went in to have a tooth pulled. After being there 2 hours, they come into pull the tooth. I told Dr Loveless I could still feel everything and he said I should not feel anything. I told him he did not numb the inside of my jaw. He gave me a shot on the inside, waited 5 mins and tried pulling. He stopped when I started screaming in pain and told him I could still feel it. He waited a few more mins and tried again. Again, I was not numb. he gave me another shot and came back in 15 mins and pulled the tooth with me screaming in pain. He pulled it and said I guess you were not numb enough. Never again will I go to this place. He needs to listen to the patience and not be so worried about being behind. The patient should come first.

I was late due to a problem at home I was 5 min late and got scolded. but they worked me in. I told them in my phone call to set up the appointment I had to have teeth pulled. they refused to do it. instead took exrays and had me talk to the doctor about teeth and sent me on my way. I was in so much pain it was hard to think. I will never return.

SECOND UPDATE: AFTER I POSTED MY FIRST UPDATE, A COUPLE WEEKS LATER I RECEIVED A CLAIM FROM MY INSURANCE SAYING THAT THE CHARGES WERE NOT BEING PAID DUE TO IT BEING DUPLICATE....ASPEN MADE A **FRAUDULENT** CLAIM BY RE-SUBMITTING THE SAME CLAIM THAT THEY GOT PAID FOR ALREADY, 3 MONTHS PRIOR. I HAVE SINCE SUBMITTED A CLAIM MYSELF TO REPORT THIS INSURANCE FRAUD.

PLEASE NOTE: AFTER I GAVE THIS REVIEW I RECEIVED A PATIENT DISMISSAL LETTER...

If it wasn't for the payment plan option (Genesis) I never would have returned after my very first visit.

First visit: I was there over three hours and the amount of time I actually spent with an employee, equals LESS than 15 minutes--all the other time was spent waiting.

Don't ever question to the employee Crystal how 'attractive' the prices are--she'll just get in your face and try to insult you in saying: all medical/dental procedures are expensive and we do have attractive prices. --Seems to me that she can't comprehend the fact that to the average Joe on street, the prices they charge definitely aren't.

--and every time I come into Aspen they always try to make me do a review of 5 stars--REALLY tacky if you ask me--they even had these print outs.

If you want to be treated unfairly and without respect and waste your money then go here...(and yes I understand that respect is earned and not just given--HOWEVER, it goes both ways for both parties, does it not)?

The better the insurance you have the more they will 'find'. I had to have a tooth pulled b/c I refused to have a root canal and crown put on it. Funny thing about that it was right above the same tooth that I already had a root canal on two months prior--and they magically couldn't see it? They blamed it on the fact that I have a small mouth--EVEN THOUGH the examiner literally found the cavity within the first FIVE SECONDS of the exam.

Like I said before: DO NOT EVER, EVER, EVER GO HERE!

One last thing: I actually ended up in the hospital due to the fact I had a bad infection under my tooth and I wasn't prescribed enough (mg) in the antibiotics they gave me. I almost died because of Aspen Dental's careless mistake AND if it wasn't for my stubbornness (I wouldn't consent to having a trak in my neck), I would have had to have emergency surgery --all because they were dumb enough to believe (while I was noticeably swollen in my face and neck) that 100 mg four times a day would get rid of the infection. (It later came out from an actual medical doctor, I should have been on AT LEAST 300 mg x 2 pills, three times daily).

So to sum it all up: if you want to be treated as a joke, without any respect, be on one very vicious cycle of being in debt to Aspen Dental and possible even die due to incompetence, then yes, definitely go here. If you (literally) value living your life, don't go here--especially if you have any type of infection.

Everyone at Aspen Dental is very personable and inviting. Dr. Woodhull is amazing! My 14 year old daughter has severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist and she didn't flinch in his chair. I am so glad I picked up the phone and switched to Aspen!!

Pros: Every person working there, from the front desk ladies to the dentist to the assistant and hygienist are all very nice and polite. They are very good about working with you on how to pay for your visits, whether it's insurance or offering a payment plan of sorts (it's like a credit card that you pay off and you can decide on the payment plan). The hygienist is very nice and they do offer/give products to insure a healthy mouth. I got a special rinse and an electric toothbrush from them. I will say that those were partially covered by my insurance, but they didn't necessarily HAVE to give them to me.

Cons: I wouldn't go here for major work. And by major work I mean anything from fillings on up. I had fillings redone here and I am still feeling some sensitivity after about three weeks. Last week I had another filling redone, and for some reason the roof of my mouth is really sore and agitated on that side; that was about four days ago. For my first fillings, I think the dentist might have drilled into a neighboring tooth since that tooth (which was fine) is now sensitive. On my second go around, I think I have a cut in the roof of my mouth from a tool, hence the sensitivity. My boyfriend had his wisdom teeth taken out here, and we won't even go into that, it was such a nightmare. Long story short, it took way longer than expected and he ended up in a ton of pain from what we suspect was a bruised jaw. He ended up pulling tooth fragments out of his gum on his own.

All in all: Go here for cleanings, see the friendly faces and have a good job done on that front. Do not go here for anything major. I may only revisit for cleanings, but will probably go elsewhere if my fillings need redone again.
