Dr Lafferty and Lisa, the dental assistant, were amazing. I have the worst fear of dentists and they put me completely at ease. Very compassionate with my fears, they made the experience painless. I also went there for my dental cleaning and the tech was a sweet heart. Their whole staff is a joy to work with, and they worked with our financial situation as we don’t have dental insurance. My prayer is that everyone can have access to such great care.

Very welcoming dental office staff and as the name says gentle way of cleaning teeth and doing exam.

We were in town for a couple of days and had a crown come loose. They got me in the next day and reglued it. Unfortunately a couple of hours later the tooth broke, not any fault of the dentist. They got me in and replaced the crown with a new one the same day. WOW!!! All-around excellent dentist and exceptional service and staff. Wish we weren't from Minnesota or he would be our dentist. 5 stars!!!! Thanks Dr.Lafferty

I had several visits to ABQ Gentle Dentistry over the last few months. Each and every time, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Lafferty has been the most exceptional dentist I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.

I went to Dr Lafferty after 15 years of no real dental care. I was terrified of the dentist and had a lot of work that needed to be done. The staff was kind and helpful, Dr Lafferty was so gentle and really ensured I was comfortable through every visit to repair my teeth and my smile. I can finally say I'm not afraid of the dentist anymore, thanks to the gentle care I received. Wonderful office and I transferred my whole family there now!

Dr. Lafferty, Lisa, and Kelsey are absolutely amazing! I was terrified to go back to the dentist after a bad experience with my previous dentist but they made things super easy. They are the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. They made me feel super comfortable and for the first time I'm completely pain free! I called Dr.Lafferty late at night the night before a holiday in excruciating pain and he got me in first thing in the morning on a holiday!

I've been going here for a couple of years now, and they're great! Always friendly, nothing hurts, office is neat and clean. They fixed an issue with my tooth that I had seen two other dentists for unsuccessfully.

By an unfortunate circumstance with my long-term dentist, I found Dr. Lafferty. I’m grateful for this happy accident because I found someone who is not only a skilled dentist but who genuinely cares for his patients and doesn't see them as an insurance claim or another number. A doctor who is willing to take time out of his busy day to return a phone call is definitely a keeper.

Dental work terrifies me, but Dr. Lafferty has always been calm, reassuring, and accommodating to dampen the stressful experience my mind creates. He has never dismissed my anxiety or made me feel bad, even though I'm confident I'm more dramatic than most women are giving birth.

The entire team has always treated me with respect and as if they have known me for years, even though I'm a new patient. Kelsey even remembered my work schedule and went out of her way once to call me about a cancelation they had so I could be seen sooner. She absolutely did not have to do that, but she knew I was eager to get in sooner. I'm always so impressed by how the office operates, and I trust everyone there.

I went to a few dentists in Albuquerque before staying with ABQ Gentle Dentistry for the past year. Most of my time has been with Dr. Lafferty and Lisa who have both been fantastic, but I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the other staff too. They’ve always kept me in the loop about what they’re doing and what they recommend. I have been very satisfied with my crown, fillings, and cleanings. They care about getting the job done right, including staying past closing time to finish my crown properly.

Everyone was very professional and considerate of my “dental anxiety.” The entire staff took the time to know me and make me feel safe and cared for during the entire process. A root canal and crown is never an enjoyable experience, but my time spent with this group of professionals was much easier than expected. I am completely satisfied with my experience.
