By far, the best experience I have ever had at the dentist! ABQ Gentle Dentistry has the most warm and welcoming staff! Everyone is just so nice and friendly! I truly feel like my needs and concerns are addressed. During my procedure, Dr. Lafferty and Kat made sure I was comfortable and talked me through the whole procedure. I was even given sunglasses so I was not staring into the lights during the procedure! Never had that happen before! I am so relieved to finally find a dentistry where not only do I feel safe, but also, most importantly, I feel valued as a human being. Thank you Dr. Lafferty and Team, you guys are the best!!

I have never found a dentist who is so kind caring and compassionate. He is very very knowledgeable and gets the job done. I have always had problems with getting numb or just had high anxiety but his calm and capable demeanor seems to calm my fears and I actually have great experiences at each appointment. He has provided implants for me as well as root canals and filings. I recommend him highly as he truly is a GENTLE KIND AND CARING PROFESSIONAL MAN, WHO TAKES HIS WORK SERIOUSLY AND CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. I give him 10 gold stars

Dr. Lafferty & his team are very professional and made me feel comfortable for my cleaning & cavity filling. It was easy and quick and there was no pain. They showed me before/after photos of the filling and you can hardly tell it was there. This is the best dental experience I've had!

Caressa, the assistant, was very informative as to what was going to happen each step. She made sure we had a connection and was compassionate. The Doctor was gentle and slow with the injections. I felt comfortable at all times. He made sure I was deadened! The extraction was painless and a relief. When the Doctor’s wife popped in to see how I was doing, I felt at home. I’ve been going to ABQ Gentle Dentistry for quite a few years now. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I’ve been seen for routine care but also had more extensive work done. I always feel Dr. Lafferty is upfront and honest about what needs to be done and what can wait. After both filling work and crowns, my pain has been minimal. Much less than I’ve experienced with other dentists in the past. The office staff, hygienists, dental assistants have been professional, kind and worked to get me through with my comfort in mind. I love that I have a rapport with everyone and they go out of their way to ask me about family members and friends that I’ve mentioned in past visits. They make going to the dentist about as pleasant as possible. When I have had emergencies, they get me in quickly.

The short of it is that this practice is operated with very high standards from the clinical side to the customer service end. I have the best Dentist! Dr. Lafferty Has gone the extra mile every visit. He stays late, takes his time to do the best job possible and communicates so I’m informed the whole way. Not to mention being perfectly gentle throughout any procedure. I would absolutely recommend him!
