ABQ Gentle Dentistry

My fear of problems on my upcoming trip, with pain and possibly an extraction, forced me to find another dentist while my regular dentist was out of town this same week. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Lafferty, exclaiming his excellent skill and manner. When I called the office I was greeted politely and after I explained my dilemma the receptionist offered to ask the Dr if he could possibly see me. Yes!
After discussion, inspection, and multiple x-rays, he felt it was an infection causing the pain, and treated it successfully. I still have the tooth, and for the first time in 2 months I can taste my food again! Kudos to you, Dr. Lafferty, you are my hero!

The staff is extremely nice and very thorough and helpful with all your needs! Make no mistake Dr. Lafferty is extremely gentle, precise and explains every step of the way for patients who require a little more sensitivity. Highly recommend Dr. Lafferty!!!!

The absolute best dentist and staff ever! Never in my life have I been actually been relaxed or soothed even from being drilled. They really care about your comfort and if you have been nervous to go to the dentist before, you never will be again. Had some fillings replaced and just may have been the best experience at a dentists office that I have ever had! Thank you!

I am so happy to have found Dr. Laffertys practice. He is the most kindest, gentlest, dentist and always greets you with a warm smile, and I wish I had found him sooner! The staff, from Harriet at the front office, to Lisa his assistant are just so lovely as well and make you feel like you are in good hands. I have anxiety going to the dentist and I have to have a series of dental work done and Dr. Lafferty really invests his time and makes sure you are comfortable and not feeling any pain, explaining what he is doing along the way. I can’t recommend his office enough, he is just amazing!! I wish all dentists were like him.

The care provided by the staff here is excellent and they go the distance to make me feel comfortable for whatever treatment I'm receiving. I’ve been going to this office for years and cannot imagine being seen anywhere else. The entire team, from walking in the door to being cleaned, is amazing as well as the both dentists are fantastic. They dealt with my complicated dental health created as the result of an accident with ease and I am never uncomfortable. The office environment is calm and you absolutely always feel like a top priority. Rest assured you’re in amazing and capable hands here!

Only been here 3 times, but it’s been pretty good so far. Their computers glitched or something and my 3rd appointment got deleted, but when I called ahead to confirm, old Doc Lafferty gave the go ahead for me to come in during his lunch hour and get seen anyway. Folks, that’s just incredible. What a Mensch. Couldn’t be happier.
