I found ABQ Gentle Dentistry online and all of the amazing reviews don’t do this place and these folks justice. I’ve had some pretty negative dental experiences and it was worth the wait to get seen by Dr. Z and all the amazing providers here. Everyone is SO kind including Harley, one of the receptionists. Can’t recommend these folks enough: so patient-centered, truly gentle, and caring.

This was the most pain-free crown that I’ve ever had. The hygienist, Caressa, was very warm and made me feel more at ease. Staff was accessible and easy talk to. Dr Lafferty did an awesome job removing my old crown and replacing it with a new one.

Dr. Lafferty is absolutely the best at his craft! Years ago I experienced retainer issues from braces that left unnatural spacing between my teeth. Dr. Lafferty said " I can fix that". The procedure was very affordable , comfortable , painless and fast. The staff was friendly and personable as well.
This has to be one of the best Dentist in Albuquerque !
I highly recommend this office for dental care , and cosmetic concerns. Whoever says they look forward to going back to the dentist office ?

I’ve always had bad experiences with dentist being so rough whenever I had to get a procedure done from two root canal’s to my wisdom teeth being extracted. I know I had to get my old root canal’s taken out since they were causing pain. I was so scared and nervous to be back in a dental chair but this time with Dr. Lafferty doing my extractions it was a different experience he was very gentle, living up to the name of his practice and feeling safe, cared for by his team. Caressa, Toni and Dr, Lafferty, are AMAZING. I definitely will always come to Dr. Lafferty, anytime I need work done. Simple the BEST. ( some people are just born to be dentists and it shows.)

Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing. So giving a review for a dentist speaks volumes. First impressions is the office staff. Here you are greeted warmly and cheerfully. It continues on to the dental chair. Dr. Lafferty and his assistance keep you informed of what they are doing any issues and your comfort. I felt very very confident that the work being done was with care and pride. The office is up to date with technology, a must in today’s world. So, if your looking for a dentist so search has ended.

Dr. Lafferty, Lisa, Kat and Nate were wonderful. I had to have a pretty deep cavity filled and they all made me feel comfortable, and the process was virtually pain free.They made sure that my eyes were protected and walked me through every step of the procedure. The office was clean and organized, and my after care instructions were very clear and manageable. I will definitely be going back for regular visits.

I am historically very nervous about the dentist. I had a rough experience at one point! If you feel that way, this is the right place for you. The entire staff is incredibly friendly. They put me at ease. Dr. Lafferty is warm and caring. When I had to have work done, he talked to me about my negative past experience and was helpful during the entire procedure. He lets you know what is happening and... it's in the name...was very gentle! The feeling I always walk away with is that they actually care about you. (So rare!)
