Amazing Work! I broke my molar a month ago & was afraid I'd need a root canal. Dr. Lafferty had a look and decided a crown is worth trying since the x-ray showed my nerve was still viable. The crown is amazing, feels like my tooth before I cracked it. I was all done in one day since his team cleaned me up, took a 3d image of my broken tooth and he made the crown in his office. Got it fitted & smoothed to match. I'm so amazed how Dr. Lafferty was able to work with my natural tooth to save it. I really avoid dentists in general, anyone who feels the same I'd recommend coming here, everyone was friendly & my overall expectations were exceeded 😁

Extremely friendly professional staff and a great environment. Harriot, the receptionist is great and the actual dental work is well communicated and painless. What impressed me first was how professional, kind and encouraging Dr. Lafferty is with his staff. Dr. Lafferty and his employees have provided me with the BEST dental experience I have ever had. I am usually one to avoid dentist visits and experiences at all cost and I was nervous when after a cleaning I was to set up a few appointments for some further work. Once I came back for the first scheduled visit I was welcomed by the receptionist, assistants and by Dr. Lafferty himself. They made sure I was more than comfortable and made sure I knew every single step we would be taking. It was a painless and errorless procedure, I hardly felt a thing (besides having to hold my mouth open for extended time). I was completely blown away. He worked with an effortless level of expertise and his assistants did just as an amazing job helping him through the process. The chemistry with the over all office is something that many other dentist can’t gurantee or provide. I am actually looking forward to my next visit, which is unheard of. They have completely changed my outlook on visiting the dentist and that is purely because of the experience they provided me. I would give more stars if I could and will definitely be recommending to anyone without a dentist, especially those more deterred from dentist visits. They made me feel well taken care of and did a perfect job on my teeth. They made a rough procedure feel so casual and I even enjoyed that Dr. Lafferty and his assistant Lisa were so in the zone that they could hold normal conversation meanwhile having laser focus on the task at hand. It put me much at ease. Thank you all at Gentle Dentistry, you have changed me from hating the dentist, to looking forward to any visit in the future! 15/10 would recommend!

After years of not seeing a dentist, I needed to have a tooth pulled in the front of my mouth and replaced with an implant. Needless to say, I was worried. But starting the day of the extraction, Dr Lafferty put all the fears to rest. His knowledge, professionalism, thoroughness, and respect for patients is as good as I’ve ever experienced in any field of work or service. And the staff is as knowledgeable, positive and welcoming as you could ask for. It’s a place I always enjoy stopping by.... even though I’m there for dental work. (And it goes without saying, the implant turned out fantastic).

Moving to a new city and looking for a new Dentist can be very challenging (at least for me!) I already knew what I was looking for. I wanted a warm and friendly atmosphere. I wanted a Dentist who was up to date on all the new procedures and products and not trying to upsell me on unnecessary procedures. I also wanted a dentist to be patient with all my questions, and not make me feel rushed.
Finally my six month search came to an end with ABQ Gentle Dentistry.
Dr. Lafferty and all his staff exceeded my expectations, and I'll be a loyal patient for life!

Dr. Dan Lafferty did a commendable job with my first implant. He was very professional, explaining every detail of the procedure to me in layperson's terms. He was methodical and took his time with each step. His staff were very warm and friendly and very welcoming at each of my visits. I highly recommend Dr. Lafferty to all my friends and co-workers.
