I adore the staff and Dr. Yang. I don't fear dentist's any more. They are welcoming and eager to help. I am going back for my implants soon. Thank you, so much, for turning a world of anxiousness into a place to be able to smile in again

My son had emergency wisdom teeth extraction near the holidays a couple of years ago. I was told that I needed to pay $272.00 for them to do the work because that was what the insurance won't pay. Now I insisted that it was too high because we had met all deductibles for the year. They said no, it was taken into consideration. When the insurance finally paid out, they pad the vast majority of the bill leaving me a total out of pocket around $60.00, which was about the credit balance I had before anything had occurred. My statement showed the $272 credit for several months after the payment from the insurance was posted. I have tried since then to get a refund and the dentist tried calling me to talk about why I needed it back, was I not going back? I did not see that as relevant. I paid too much and I need it back. Flash forward to this month. I again called looking for my refund and this time they creatively told me that they posted my payment twice so therefore the credit should not have been there? Really do they think I am that stupid? Well stupid or not, I cannot force them to pay me my refund. But I can share my experience so no one else gets ripped off.

My experience with Comfort Dental was a positive one. They went out of their way to make sure that partials fit perfectly. They achieved their goal.

I had not been to a dentist in 5years. I'm scared to death of them. The first time Dr. Yang was very gentle. She filled 8 teeth and pulled a tooth that was rotting under a crown that I refused to have a root canal on. The tooth filling in front of the pulled tooth broke. But because I was bleeding too much they couldn't fix that filling that day. It really was a wonderful experience considering how much I hate dentists. This was a Wednesday morning. So on Friday after work I went back to fix that filling. She went to numb me and despite the fact that NO EPI should be all over my chart. She used epi in my Novocain and then stuck it in the joint of my jaw. I could feel my jaw joint exploding as she inserted the liquid. I tried to stop her and wiggle out away from her and she grabbed tighter and told me not to move that she was almost done. I took my fingers and pushed against the pressure of the liquid blowing my jaw apart. The pain was excruciating The fluid did in fact numb my tongue and kind of numb my tooth but more so my tongue. I accepted the pain while they filled my tooth because I was afraid she'd blow my jaw apart some more with more Novocain that numbed others areas of my mouth. My tongue and throat were so numb I was having a hard time swallowing. After four hours if dental work I only used the pain killers the first day. Since my second visit I have had to use them every day. My jaw will not open. It chronically pops now and the pain in my jaw neck and head and my ear are non stop . I am not sure who to see to fix my jaw now. But it needs to be fixed because I cannot live the rest of my life this way. And this was directly cause by Novocain fluid being directly injected into the joint which now no longer works. I had no jaw problems previously to this visit.

This office has been wonderful to me. I love their staff and their Doctors. I have been a patient with the Comfort Dental on Lomas since 2015 and have never experienced anything the other people have mentioned in their reviews. The receptionist is so efficient and fast.

They managed to mangle my gums with their electric toothbrush during a routine cleaning. It's been weeks and the cuts along my front gums are still not completely healed. They also started trying to fill a cavity after I mentioned to both assistant and dentist that I didn't feel numb. Spoiler alert: I wasn't, and it hurt. I'd go back to have them fix the shoddy work they did, but there's no way I'm letting Comfort Dental near my mouth again.
