Was informed that they did not have the capability, even when it's 2022, that they couldn't look up my Delta Dental Coverage. Refused my delta dental provided by the Veteran's Affairs. Was a waste of my husband's 2 hour vacation he took the 18th of March by not accepting him when he attempted to go to his appointment. My husband's employer's thought that it was bogus that they can't look up his information and I will not be fooled to think that they can't, because every where I've been, offices have looked up my coverage through my SSN. When I attempted to use my husband's work insurance, 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment was told by April that my appointment was passed and that I couldn't be seen. What happened to the 10 minute grace period? This clinic also had my VA Delta Dental coverage information and did not inform me before hand that they did not accept my dental coverage, thanks for a waste of time. Not veteran friendly, selective customer service. I'm glad I know better.

For anyone who has been victimized by bad "dentists" in the past. The two best words I can give you about my three visits to Aspen Dental in Saratoga are........."NO PAIN!"
Even the Dental Assistant had a horror story from a totally different dental office. So, she REALLY understood!
If you do feel any pain, they'll fix it so you do not. They listen to you, even if you are nervous babbling. They listen.
The only negative I have to report is that I have to pay out of pocket because, unfortunately, even though they advertise low, reasonable rates, Aspen won't take Medicade. Consequently, this last fee was twice what I was prepared to pay. I am one of those people with a chronic disability who are on a low, fixed income and Aspen doesn't take my insurance so, they worked with me.
One would think a large company, like Aspen Dental, could successfully lobby for increased payment from NYS. You'd think that the dental health of low income New York State residents was that important to the higher ups of this company that they'd make the effort to include us.
You'd think that. But, oh well, my review is of the fabulous staff at the Saratoga Springs office and their excellent compassion, kindness, empathy, competency and professionality. If I had to rate from one to ten, I'd give them each an 11! ❤️ NO PAIN!

I wasn't too happy with my experience at Aspen Dental. I went in for a free exam and x-rays because I had no insurance which was the only useful thing about my visit. The staff was nice but the dentist breezed through, did the exam in less than 10 minutes, didn't give me an opportunity to ask questions, and then the office manager handed me a "payment plan" for oral surgery I need (really a loan) of $4k which would become 6 grand by the time I'd paid it off.
It felt like she was pushing me to sign off on it which I wasn't comfortable with, so I went to a private practice and paid $285 for basic x-rays, a cleaning, and a thorough exam from a dentist who took the time to answer my questions. Well worth it for a dentist I trust and now that I have insurance I'll be going there from now on. Aspen Dental felt very shady.

So far, so good. Very pleasant experience. A little different from your normal dentist visit. Staff were very friendly and resourceful. I have two appointments coming up this month. Stay tuned for updates.

Pleasant initial experience, staff was helpfull, I just moved here and had an implant crown that had to be replaced. I scheduled for ex rays and evaluation was performed, advised that two of crowns in front of implant were needing replacement as well so scheduled to have done. The dentist was very good , however less than 24 hours I was back at office due to implant crown moving and insisted on seeing the dentist, I drive 70 miles for this, the office showed absolutely no concern so turned around and drive 70 miles back, I live in Adirondacks. Of course there are dead zones and once I was home the office called and left a voicemail and stated doctor could see me at 5:00 PM. So that wasn’t happening. So scheduled the following week to get it taken care of.. (unacceptable) fortunately no additional damage was done. The following week I was scheduled for a cleaning after driving 70 miles again, without any notification I was approached by the office manager and was quoted the cost of a deep cleaning, instead of the basic cleaning, this I felt was retaliation from the office manager who new how upset I was about how all was handled.

I would give them no stars, but the xray person was great. I went in for a simple check up to have my teeth cleaned.
After the xrays and gum check were done, they mentioned everything looked fine.I was brought back out to the reception desk to wait. The receptionist put a peice of paper in front of me and said your insurance does not cover the cleanings. I would have to come back two times to get my teeth cleaned for $502.00 out of pocket.
Please do not go to these sharks, unless you do not value your money.

Wonderful staff, would recommend them to everyone. As nervous as I was when walking in the front door, that feeling went away rather quickly because the staff there treats you as person rather than getting you out the door after paying a bill. Look forward to returning to get the necessary work done so one's self confidence can be where it needs to be. Again, can not stress just how wonderful and easy going they were. I for one appreciated the experience and will be returning to that office for ALL my future dental work.

I recently received a teeth cleaning at the Queensbury branch. After the initial examination/x-rays/meeting with the dentist, they were able to take care of the cleaning that afternoon.
The staff were all excellent. The dentist pointed out an issue regarding an implant that I needed to keep an eye on going forward (but did not warrant any work that day).
I am grateful they were able to see me on such short notice, and examine/clean my teeth. I live in Boston so I may not be in the area in six months for another cleaning (but if I am, I will certainly visit again).
Thank you very much.
