Friendly Dental Group of Mooresville

My first visit was with Dr. Nagel and his assistant, everything went well, he was professional and did not leave me in the exam room for an hour and the assistant made me comfortable.

My second visit, one I was suppose to see Dr. Nagel and he wasn't there. When I booked my second visit I asked to see Dr. Nagel and asked how long it would take because I was coming on my lunch hour and Kathleen the office Manager told me 1 hour and half, well I sat in the exam room for 1 hour and no one came to give me an update or made me comfortable while I was waiting for an hour, so I got really frustrated and walked out. The doctor that came in and numbed me she didn't introduce herself that was rude and her assistance was rude as well. After the doctor numbed me she left the room and never came back.

This was my first visit to this office since relocating from New Jersey. I couldn't have been happier with the experience. This office was clean, efficient and modern, having all the latest diagnostic tools.
My cleaning and scaling were performed with no discomfort by the pleasant dental hygienist, Megan.
I would highly recommend this office to anyone seeking quality dental care.

I have had 2 root canals with Dr. Nagel. He is great. Very focused and gentle. Not to mention, he is hillarious! The entire staff is so nice and personable. They joke and have fun. You can tell they love their jobs and their co-workers. I have recommended him to many friends.

I went here because the reviews on here said that this was the place to go for Medicaid. That's a huge lie!!! They made my teeth worse than before I went and now after leaving 12 voicemails they have yet to return a phone call while my teeth fall out of my head from work they did!!!

I can not say enough about my experience. As a patient who really do not like going to the Dentist I must say this was the best experience ever. I always dislike having my teeth cleaned because of the pain. Megan was so gentle and she made me so comfortable that I would recommend anyone of any age to come to Friendly Dental. Dr. Nagal did an outstanding job and answered all my concerns. Why look anywhere else when you have an office that really lives up to their name. The entire staff makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step through the door. :D

Worst customer service ever! Once we get these braces off we will never visit this office again, no return phone calls or emails! Lost HIPPA paperwork, so my mom goes all the way there to take my son and then is told he won’t be seen as she is not on forms, this was at least the 8 time taking my boys to the dentist or orthodontist. Beyond livid! Wasted trip, wasted visit and I didn’t get a phone call. We are done!

The only positive thing I can comment is the front office staff, Caroline. Everything else is zero stars. The office and staff are extremely unwelcoming. Constantly felt like a bother, my issues weren’t serious, and that my serious issues weren’t serious at all. Try choking on a crown that was poorly placed and having your doctor sit next to you, not reacting, having a full on panic attack. Literally, stuck in my throat trying to fit it. I swallowed it, thankfully. The doctor, who I will not mention had no reaction, nor urgency or care for my well being. I’ve been to dozens of dentists and have been severely disappointed in the work, service and bedside manners. Don’t bother calling the corporate office. Their solution is for you to give them another chance and use care credit to finance their errors. Thank goodness I found a sincere, genuine, FRIENDLY, dentist less than a mile away. I would never recommend anyone to this location. Please do your research and consider other options. I’ve spent too much money fixing their less than average work; ie., root canals, fillings and new crowns. Best wishes to everyone else who has experienced better service than I’ve ever had.

I have had several appointments with this dentist and can honestly say I have never had anything remotely close to a good experience. The first appointment I had was a simple check up and was told I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed and they recommended I have my metallic fillings replaced with a different material that resembled natural teeth. Also at this time I had a gap which the dentist offered to fix for $300, and claimed insurance would not cover it, however I visited another dentist who fixed it and my insurance in fact did pay for it. And even though I never had an issue with my fillings before, I agreed to have them replaced. I also agreed to have my wisdom teeth removed there which was a huge mistake. Just a couple days after the procedure I developed a dry socket which they basically refused to do anything about. Then it wasn't a couple months before a filling they replaced came out. By this time I no long had dental insurance and when I returned I was told I would be responsible for the bill, eventually after arguing with the staff and explaining the situation they agreed to waive the bill. Now a year later the same filling has came loose and after I make an appointment for the 5th I'm told the appointment was actually in their log as the 4th. I am in a tremendous amount of pain and now they wont see me until next week. Needless to say I will not return like I made the mistake of doing so in the past. So please if possible avoid th

This place is so horrible..I had to receive a crown but didn’t have the money at the time they wouldn’t bother to fix my tooth they just said until you get the money they couldn’t just fix it til I got the rest of the money there clowns here. There about money not about helping someone. They need direction at this place rude staff in the front as well
