Friendly Dental Group of Mooresville

I woke up with a huge abcess on my gum one morning and Friendly Dental was the only place in Mooresville that could fit me in. My first appt went well enough, the staff was not so nice, but I got a prescription for antibiotics and they told me I had a cavity. I couldnt get the cavity filled that day, which I totally understood and was happy to make an appt to come back. I asked if I could get the cavity filled and get a cleaning on the next appt so I could limit my time off of work. The woman at the front desk informed me it couldnt be done but that she would get both appts scheduled. I had no issues at the cavity appt, but the supposed cleaning appt was a nightmare.

The moment I walked in a woman at the front desk sighed and rolled her eyes at me. I checked in and eventually 3 other people walked in as well...but only two dentists were there. I was the last to be brought back after a 20 minute wait. Got the xrays done etc, Dr. Nagel came in and looked at my mouth for literally two minutes. He didn't even ask me if I had any concerns or questions all he wanted to do was complain to the hygienist about other things. He walked out of the room and I was informed no one was available to do my cleaning and I would have to make *another* appt for that. So basically it was a complete waste of time. Oh, and I got a huge laugh when I saw what they billed my insurance for the "comprehensive" exam I got... what a joke. The office manager is a very unpleasant woman along with the rest of the front desk staff.

The level of incompetence and rudeness of office staff takes the cake. Filing on former insurance multiple times and office manager makes promises of discounts that she does not keep. Only decent work is hygentist.

One of the male dental assistants here suggested that I should spank my 6yo son because he was scared to have a cavity filled. 2 other hygienists openly mocked me (in Spanish, which I understand enough of) for getting my kids birthdays mixed up while I had a toddler climbing on me. This office also pulls the micro cavity scam, they say you have a small cavity and to fill it before it gets bigger, but after going to other dentists there was no cavity to begin with.

Wow for them to be called friendly dental no one here is friendly. It’s very sad. My daughter and I just moved to the area and we were just trying to stay on schedule with everything but we may be looking for better ppl to take care of us from here on out. Thanks but no thanks. This is awful and someone needs to start working on improving this fast.

Walked in with no appointment, was seen within the hour. Nice, polite, fun, and educated environment. They care, and make you feel at ease before working. Which is huge to me, being uncomfortable with dentists.

These dentists did a nice job of filling my cavity. I have not had a cavity in 20 years and even though I didn't want one it was a lot less painful then I remembered. Thanks a lot..

I forgot to say that Dr Nagel was a pretty funny dentist and made me laugh a couple of times. I hope my next visit he is there but that I do not have a cavity.

After years of fear and trepidation (of dentist's in general), Amalgam fillings falling out and old crowns failing, I dug deep into my inner being and found the courage to visit a dentist.

I worked at "vettng" potential dentists hoping to find one with great chairside manners and not someone who would inform me how "bad" i've been not keeping up with my oral hygiene needs.

Well, Good news! I found a local Dentist who met all my essential requirements. Friendly Dental lived up to their name in many catagories.

First, they lived up to their name! They are all friendly and cordial and helped dispel any negative notions about Dentist's as a whole. Chairside manners were/are exemplary by all the staff.

Since my last visit, technology has progressed to an extent it was like a quantum leap for me from X-ray's to the actual work on teeth.

Whereas i have "dental insurance", is was woefully inadequate, and unlike other dentists I have had, Friendly Dental worked with me. I have never had a dentist do that, so was greatly impressed by their working with me to not only meet my dental needs but help in my budgeting. Strong evidence they put the patient first.

Today, I can once again enjoy dining at home or away from home.

The service is okay once you get in. They do, however, make you wait over an hour after your scheduled appointment time to be called back and making an appointment to avoid missing an entire day of school is impossible. Definitely looking to switch dentist!!!

Friendly and courteous staff. Really great prices for any dental procedures including dentures, braces, cleaning and extraction.

Walked in for a cleaning appointment,They had a client cancel,I went right in .Cleaning,fixed a lost crown. Left with clean teeth and a new crown in 2 hours.
